Friendly, good service, but could do with premises twice the size! Even though we visited mid-week in February people were being turned away because there were no seats available.

Today I have been welcomed for the second time into the Puddleducks Cafe at Dunspo Bridge following walking my enormous dog, Fen; he's an Irish Wolfhound so, as you can imagine, he needs lots of space! The owners are always very welcoming and the food is simple but home made and really enjoyable. I had the home made pea and ham soup with home made bread- delicious! The pea and ham soup was possibly the best I've had because I usually find it too salty but this was gorgeously peppery! Also served with a big pot of tea for two (to share with my friend) with plenty of hot water to refill and coffee and walnut cake. It is only a small cafe but they accommodated our large party with a smile (3 adults, 4 children and 2 large dogs). Highly recommend for dog walkers!!! :)

Great Cafe - nice place to stop for a cup of tea. Popular with cyclists like me. The cafe is named after its numerous feathered residents which congregate by the river.

Went in a group of five, they missed two peoples soup completely off no apologies made. Never brought the coffee, no tea spoons with the tea. The staff were all very young chattering away a lot, with the owners not around. Fire was left to go out and it got gradually colder. Great for brew and toast when on bike but wasnt good for sunday lunch today. Shame, food is lovely but wouldnt be going again. £34 for 1 soup 2 pies 2 pud and 2 drinks with poor service. Very disappointing

puddleducks cafe resturant is situated in the centre of the united kingdom, In an area known as Dunsop Bridge. The cafe Is delightful and combines a shop come post office, I have to say I enjoyed a nice cup of tea with a fantastic home made cake. The staff were extremely freindly and polite and obviously very proud of the business, The Ribble valley has some hidden gems and puddleducks is one of them. In the summer months the green outside the cafe is full of tourists all enjoying the cafes ice cream and teas, There is ample space inside for those cold winter days and outside tables and chairs, But as is always the case its the staff that make this business shine, a father and son partenership, Both working very hard to provide a service, I did check the toilet facilities and again very clean toilet and wash basen very high standard of hygene. I would go again. Simon Entwistle tour guide www.tophattours.co.uk
