Pooped in here for some lunch a few weeks ago. The jacket potato and salad was lovely, as was the homemade cakes!

I sometime pop into the Tea Room for lunch after my hair appointment at Tiptop Hair Design in the same court yard. I find it a very friendly place with very good food. I had the special Lamb Crumble one of the nicest Lamb dishes I have had for a long time. The crumble was so tasty and different.
Friendly Staff, Home made produce. well done.

Three friends and I and had lunch here 3 weeks ago. The food was very good and we all enjoyed it, good prices and choice. The Ferrers Centre itself is a courtyard with shops all around it, mainly art and jewellery but one very good upholstery workshop if you need any chairs recovering, quite a find. There is also a garden centre so quite enough to keep you entertained all afternoon. It is situated in Staunton Harold, it is closer to Melbourne than Ashby de la Zouch.

Visited on a May Sunday afternoon and it was very busy, tables very close together. A long wait for food to come to table.
Fair menu for a tea room but expensive, bacon cob, toasted sandwich ( actually just toasted bread, not done in a toaster ) cup of coffee and a belvoir cordial cost £13.75

Pretty tea room in a quadrangle setting. There is seating outside on a warm, sunny day which is very pleasant. They serve a wide variety of meals and snacks of high quality. It's very rare that a Vegetarian can be offered something other than veggie lasagne, but the people here have creativity and come up with first rate fayre, tasty and as said, high quality. The only criticism is that the room itself could do with being a little larger.
