The prices at the Bulls Head are fab, and I imagine if you're a meat eater with no food allergies it's just right. But I am a veggie who is also gluten free and all I can have on the menu is a jacket potato. For everyone else I eat with, they have a lot of choice and the prices can't be ignored, they are good. But for any gluten free people out there, don't bother!

Good Full English, good service in a nice environment. Not overly expensive considering the large amount under £6 per head..... The only thing stopping me giving it full marks is the 2 very small button mushrooms, of it had been one large field mushroom, great! It would have been better not to have had any rather than those. But on the whole good stuff.

We stopped off in Ashby for a quick spot of lunch. The Bulls Head didn't disappoint - we had two meals for £7.99 - fish n chips and pie n chips - both good portions, both decent food and definately value for money. It was clean and tidy inside - plenty of choice of beer - staff seemed friendly and helpfuly. All in all, we picked a good place to stop off and grab a quick meal.
