“Belvoir Brewery”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

Great food some good beer lack of organisation to have to wait for 2 hours while latecomers arrive for a brewery tour is not my idea of fun.

Would go again for a meal but never again a tour had to leave before the tour took place seats very poor .Organisation a complete joke .

Reviewed 2 April 2014 via mobile

My husband was given a voucher for a tour and meal for two. We had an interesting tour with the part owner and a lovely 3 course meal to follow. The beer is very good and we enjoyed the whole experience

“First Class day out!”
Reviewed 4 February 2014

I can't speak well enough to convey our appreciation of this excellent Brewery/Restaurant.
My daughter gifted me a trip to this brewery for my birthday and to make a day of it our intention was to obtain a meal somewhere local to the Brewery. Well ! to our surprise there is a fantastic Bar/Restaurant that has a menu to satisfy the most faddy eater. We had a superb meal that was very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.
Finally, we were given a in depth tour of this small local Brewery which turns out several quality real ales. of which part of the tour gave us the opportunity to sample three of the brews.
I have no doubt that we will be returning with our family and friends.

“Beer and food heaven”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

What a fantastic brewery and restaurant. The tour was very interesting, detailed but punctuated with lots of humour and anecdotes. Afterwards we had a fantastic meal and some very fine ales in the adjoining restaurant which was informal, relaxed and homely. The staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit.

“A boring building, but inside...”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

From the outside this is just another glorified shed on an industrial estate. But inside, it's quite different: an airy room with a bar, full of breweriana (old pub and brewery signs, mysterious bits of plumbing), while visible through glass windows is the Belvoir Brewery itself (tours daily).
The restaurant serves typical pub grub (Belvoir steak pie, fish and chips) as well as more sophisticated dishes like Goosnargh duckling and steaks. All are served in generous portions.
I am a member of a classic car club which meets here for lunch about once a month. Yesterday (09/11/2013) 19½ persons (there was a baby) sat down to eat: everybody was satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. I had sweet chilli chicken with noodles, while Jean had asparagus chicken, and both of had tiramisu for dessert: all were excellent, with plentiful vegetables. With drinks and coffee our bill was just over £40.
The atmosphere is informal and relaxed: service from cheerful and friendly staff can be slow at busy periods (but gets there in the end!). The beers are very enjoyable.
