After queuing for a short time . Which is to be expected as the restaurant as it is always busy .we sat down in the dinning area on first floor . All four if us .The waitress was very-prompt to ask if we would like drinks and if we was ready to order food , in a very polite manner , how meals and drinks came within five minutes . The children had cheese burger and chips , and myself a beef pie with hips and fresh garden peas . With a extra jug of gravy if I needed it at no extra cost , as was child's milk and blackcurrant cordial . The girls had one chocolate fudge cake that was cut in two pieces by our waitress . As they could not of possibly eaten a full one . The cost of our visit today was around £25 and that included a pint and a glass of wine too . Always with a visit to this traditional fish restaurant . Well done
