“Pub with a little extra”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Not what you expect when you walk into the pub, the light and airy restaurant above has two small rooms tastefully decorated and not too many tables and a view of the promenade. The service was very good and the food was exceptional, the most beautiful crisp, lightly battered haddock, hand cut chips and mushy peas followed by lime and brandy snap cheesecake, a perfect meal.

“Beautiful food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

I had tea and scones and felt like I was in 'Bettys'of Harrogate. The scones were to die for and the service was second to none.

“Lovely Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime to an empty restaurant so got the window seat which had a great view. I chose a lasagne and my mum the steak and ale pie- both came with chips and we both enjoyed the meals as you could tell the quality of the homemade food. Afterwards we had a white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake which was gorgeous but a bit pricy for the size. Overall the bill came to £32 but we are glad we finally tried this restaurant- we will be returning.

“shopping & lunch trip with a friend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

we were on a recent shopping trip in cleethorpes sea view street when we asked one of the shop keepers were to eat ,& they reccomend this place it was a lovely meal I had jacket potato with prawn & crayfish tails which came with salad ,my friend had the homemade steak pie with fresh veg & chips which she said was lovely, we both had a soft drink & i think it came to £18! the restaraunt is upstairs (very narrow & steep so not really suitable for all ) but the room looks out onto the seafront would definatley recomend this restaraunt stairs & all !
