“Lovely stay”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Stayed here for one night for the Cleethorpes 1940s weekend. The owner was lovely and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The guest house is only a few metres walk from the seafront so ideal for exploring Cleethorpes. Even with it's close proximity to the front it was a very peaceful nights sleep and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of foods. Again the host was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Very friendly, warm welcome from the owner. Everything spotlessly clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Just an overnight stay for me so just perfect. It's very close to the beach and the Cleethorpes nightlife!

We stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a friends wedding. Maria who runs the B&B sent a courtesy text to see what time we would be arriving - she was very friendly when we checked in and nothing was too much trouble. The room was well decorated and modern, with all amenities and plenty of extras - tea and coffee making facilities in the room also included hot chocolate, biscuits and mineral water. There was also a large selection of complimentary Neutrogena toiletries. Much more than you'd expect from a small B&B.
Breakfast was excellent- you couldn't possibly ask for more - fresh juices, fruit , cereals and yogurts to begin then a menu to select your choice of cooked breakfast. Plus toast with a selection of Jams and spreads and fresh filter coffee and tea.
We opted for full English and it was amazing - freshly cooked from what was obviously fresh produce. The breakfast would certainly give any high end hotel a run for its money!
Would recommend the B&B to anyone.

I'm not surprised this place gets great reviews. It's just about perfect, and the lady who runs it is extremely nice.
. Attractive neutral decor in my room, gorgeous modern bathroom fittings,- it was small, but it works. They are in the middle of a refurbishment, but that didn't really affect anything. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again. Only slight quibbles were that no nets or blinds on windows, ( just curtains ), does not allow any privacy during day, or when dressing. I was a bit cold at night, so an extra blanket would be good. And there should be at least one bath sheet on offer! The bed was low, which may be difficult for anyone with restricted mobility- personally, I don't like to push myself up out of bed. So, nothing seriously wrong, and mostly a fabulous place to stay.

Room Tip: I heard that one of the doubles was quite small, you may wish to ask for the bigger one.
