I agree with jm_1301's review - 'Don't judge the hotel by the exterior'.
The exterior of the hotel reminds me of a school building and is somewhat austere, but don't let that put you off. Once inside you will see that this is a smart modern hotel and the smell of fresh flowers greets you when you enter. The reception staff are bright and efficient and I was assigned a large room on the 4th floor.
The room itself was spotless and well appointed with a large TV, sofa, table and chairs and a desk. The ensuite bathroom clean and tidy. I was on a stop-over for one night on business and a good night's sleep is important to me and I found the hotel to be quiet and the bed very warm and comfy - Ideal!!
The staff at breakfast the next morning were very helpful and although I didn't opt for a cooked breakfast it is available and I settled for cereal and juice from the self-service section which included fruit, yoghurts, pastries, toast etc and what you would expect in most hotels of this standard.
The only minus point during my one night stay was the lack of internet service. They had a problem with it and it wasn't available. It's normally a free service here and when I've stayed here before there has always been a problem with it, so I'm not sure if it is...I agree with jm_1301's review - 'Don't judge the hotel by the exterior'.

It's normally a free service here and when I've stayed here before there has always been a problem with it, so I'm not sure if it is always my bad luck or maybe that the hotel doesn't prioritise much effort into ensuring guests can use the internet service because they offer it free of charge. My view is that something that is free, but not very often available is no use at all. If it is indeed a common problem then I think more effort needs to be given to ensure internet is available to guests these days whether free or charged as business travellers like to be able to work in their hotel rooms..More
