We have just got back from 2 nights at the Premier Inn in Grimsby. Was a little worried before we went as the Premier Inn website warns that the hotel is next to a main road and an industrial estate. This is all true but we were not disturbed at all and heard no noise at all during the night. Had also noticed that some people on here had mentioned a strange smell but that wasn't present when we went.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was up to usual Premier Inn standards. Clean with en-suite facilities, drinks making facilities, hairdryer, freeview TV and comfy beds. You can also get internet connection but it is quite pricey.
The hotel was about 15 mins drive away from Cleethorpes which was where we wanted to visit. Perfect if you have a car and I also think there was a train station fairly close too.
Only negative about this place was that the adjoining pub where you have your breakfast was suffering a nasty fly problem at the time of our visit. It was bad enough trying to eat food which had come from the kitchen with one hand whilst swatting away flies with the other but daring to eat food from the buffet table was only for the brave. Not sure if this was a one-off problem but I would avoid eating here again because of this.
