On booking this restaurant for a group booking , found the staff and food good, evening was a great success even if the band were a bit too load, being sat right next to the speaker.
Group returned on Sunday morning for a full english ,nice produce good food but did find having to pay for drinks on top of price a bit steep as there was a lot of us for both dinner and breakfast.

Well this has to be the best Sunday roast we have ever had in a pub lovely fresh veg and a proper cauliflower cheese very good veg choose with roast tats and mash or new tats in the summer. The meat portions are very good with a choose of 4 meats, Beef Turkey Pork and Gammon also nice linc's sausages and wonderful gravy, my mouth is watering writing this review. You can go up for seconds for pots and veg. All of this for £7.95 great value for money . The sweet menu is also very good with a good choice . Can get very busy booking is advisable.

The menu's state that this is under new management and in an area where most shops are food outlets you have to stand out to be popular. I took my aunt here one lunchtime as she had come from 'down south'. Her initial comments were how reasonable the prices were. I decided upon a cheeseburger and she had ham eggs and chips.
The plates were larger than mine at home and the portions were huge, so much so that my little dog had some ham when we got home. The chips were piled up high and there was no scrimping on anything. Okay, so the condiments are in bottles and there were flies in the doorway, but for a total bill of £16 you can't go wrong, plus they have sky sports on.
This pub can be two things, it's a nice little place to eat during the day and a thriving pub with live music at night, well worth a visit.

I've only been here once, for a Saturday morning breakfast. It seemed a little pricey as you had to pay for coffee & tea separately and it came to about £18 for two of us, but it was top quality to be fair. Butchers' produce for the bacon & sausages as far as I could tell, lovely fresh bread for the toast. If you fancy a treat one morning, I'd recommend this! We'll certainly go back.

We booked a table for six at the granary for a family meal. Upon arrival we were shown to our table and were disappointed to see they hadn't even bothered to push the tables together. We ended up split across two tables. After a few minutes we asked for the menus and were told it was steak night. When we said we still wanted to see the normal menu as two of the party are vegetarian we were told they would only offer a vegetable crumble - an assortment of veg topped with cheese. Several things wrong with this. Not everyone wants to eat steak, regardless of whether they eat meat or not. The fact they only offer steak on these nights and the normal menu is not available should be made clear on the website and when booking the table. Plus not all vegetarians are thrilled at the thought of a plate of vegetables smothered in cheese. It's hardly an appetising or complete meal. We promptly left and found somewhere else to eat. The lack of flexibility and customer service at the granary cost them six paying customers. I certainly won't be going back there again after this.
