Had lunch staff friendly and helpful. Food tasty though didn't look especially appetising on hot plate. Would go again but think probably try to get there earlier lunch rather than later as food is sat on a hot buffet type tray.

This is the only place that we will catch lunch at in Scunthorpe. Stay downstairs for the atmosphere and good choice of freshly prepared food, and a friendly welcome.

although quite cramped , the experience was very pleasant . everyone in our party was happy with their food and the service was excellent . Would recommend this as one of the top 2 Italian restaurants in the Scunthorpe area.

We went for dinner last week and both of us had a really nice meal. It is quite cosy upstairs, but not many tables were taken at our early booking so it was quite quiet. We opted for classic Italian dishes, which are reasonably priced, rather than offerings from the Specials list. The spaghetti bolognese and pasta with pesto/tomatoes were both nicely presented, very tasty and not too large. The service was friendly and quick. Complimentary bruschetta with tomatoes kept us going before the main course. We passed on the starters....in favour of a yummy Italian dessert. Both of us went for the creme brûlée with a small decoration of fresh berries and it was lovely. We love Italian food and don't often eat out in Scunthorpe centre....but now we have found Colosseo we will be returning.

Nice atmosphere, food fairly good. Everyone crammed in and a little uncomfortable. We went as a couple but was more like everyone on one big table. I would go back but not in a hurry.
