We hope all our guests have an enjoyable stay with us nannyteresa, so it is regrettable to learn that this was marred by the litter outside our Scunthorpe Travelodge. As with our rooms, we expect all areas of the hotel to be kept clean and maintained to a high standard. Please be assured that we will pass on your comments to the hotel manager in order to address the issues you have raised.

Booked to use as a base for touring Lincolnshire. Very friendly staff. Nice clean bed room and bathroom. Easy car parking. Set in a retail park with a range of nice places to eat. Easy to travel to and from (right at the end of the M181) and convenient for touring Lincolnshire. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant Staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable and clean Bedding. Only one chair in family rooms - . Member of staff found us a spare chair and said all rooms only have 1 chair.
Wifi not working and staff not trained on procedure to handle this.
Do not purchase Breakfast boxes as to immediate three sides of hotel there are places to get hot food from 7am and if you pre buy these travel lodge will not refund boxes ordered.

Can't complain, there was nothing really wrong with the hotel. Clean, tidy and spacious room. Shower wasn't excellent but then it never is, there wasn't a hair dryer in the room though!! Also it was a bit annoying as we had the window open at night and because it is next to a McDonalds drive thru, all you could hear all night was cars turning up and the loud speaker as people placed their orders. Wasn't too much of an issue though. Overall a nice enough hotel and does the job.

In my opinion this Travelodge embraces all the worst in low cost budget hotel chains. I stay here frequently for work purposes but would not chose to stay otherwise. I recent months is has celebrated a "makeover" which is really hard to see. As there are no facilities at this hotel the only discussion point is the rooms. These are spacious (which is good and bad) and made even more spacious by the recent removal of the sofa beds from the rooms. This great idea now leaves the bear essentials in a massive space with nowhere to place bags or the watch TV. My most recent visit resulted in a room with a faulty room heater which meant the room was cold on arrival and remained cold. The small wall mounted heater is probably theoretically sized to heat this size room but it does not feel that way in a cold February stopover.

Room Tip: Room facing the rear of the hotel are noisy, especially when truck drivers park up at night and have...

Thank you for your review Bob A. We are sorry to learn you found your room to be cold on your most recent visit to our hotel. Our heaters are turned off prior to our customers arrival as part of our focus on minimising climate change impact however they should be in a good working condition. We do keep extra duvets and covers at reception, available on a first come first serve basis. We'll be sure to make our hotel management team aware of your feedback.

The door locks of all the rooms are very noisy as the doors close. This is particularly a problem at night in Room 1 which is next to the door at Reception which bangs shut repeatedly as guests return to the hotel.

Apart from that, our room was clean and comfortable.
