On Christmas Day the family and I, decided to go out for our first ever Christmas dinner and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, each portion size was perfect so by the end of the meal you were full. I would like to thank all at Bustard Inn, from the chefs to the front of house. Merry Christmas to all and wish you all the best In 2020.

I always love eating at The Bustard Inn when in the area. We travel about 40mins to eat and drink here as the quality of the food, the ambience and the service are always very high. The food is locally sourced and of a high standard. Certainly in this area this place stands out from the crowd.

Last Year we had a fabulous works Christmas party meal
Which was enjoyed by all my colleagues.
So I decided to return with and my husband yesterday for Christmas Day Lunch.
We booked the second seating and on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady at the bar who welcomed us and took our name etc.
We had arrived 20 mins early and enjoyed a drink at the bar.
We were shown to our table in the main restaurant which was set up lovely, again we were greeted by the two lovely young ladies who were our waitresses for the afternoon,
Our starters arrived along with lovely bread and salted yummy butter!
The main course was served hot and was delicious.
After the gorgeous dessert, cheese, biscuits and mince pies along with coffee were served.
Every course was presented lovely by The smiling young waitresses, and sufficient times between courses.
Lesley the owner was very pleasant and attentive.
Our Christmas Day lunch at the Bustard was a very enjoyable afternoon.
We would highly recommend.

I have just lost my wife and wanted a quiet Christmas lunch with my daughter. We arrived about an hour before our reservation, in order to have a drink, and where confronted by a barman almost demanding to know why we were so early. We were shown to our table on time and received our starters but had a fight to get bread. We then waited ages to get our main course. When i went to pay they had not deducted our deposit. Lunch for two was in excess of £200 which i think was a joke.I will never go back and i advise anyone else to stay well clear.
