A quiet hideaway in the lovely village of Austwick.
Magnificent Manor house brought back to life by two talented guys. Rooms furnished in keeping with the period of the property, wonderful soft furnishings plus all the neccessary modern facilities. The owners are very welcoming and helpful providing clean interesting rooms and a good breakfast. Dinner can be provided and is well worth experiencing - well done Michael! If there for several nights, and like us, not able to eat five courses each night, the village pub, with a good restaurant is about 5 mins walk away. If you like walking you would not have to use the car as there are several good walks from the hotel.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at Austwick Hall, and we would highly recommend it. The house has been tastefully restored and feels like staying in a rather wealthy friend's country retreat! Beautiful gardens and lovely rooms in the middle of the Yorkshire dales.

On Sunday, we ate at another restaurant in the village, but the night we ate at the Hall was infinitely better. The 5 course menu seemed a little scary to comprehend at the start, but the portions were exactly the right amount to leave you satisfied by the end of the meal. The Hall does not have a license, but they are happy for you to bring your own wine and do not charge corkage.

We will definitely try to get back to stay as soon as possible, and hope the owners, Eric and Michael, go from strength to strength!

Austwick hall is a brilliant luxury B&B. The house is stunning and the owners are great. It has been tastefully decorated and the rooms are great. We particularly like the large bedroom, which has got a massive bathroom and a roll top bath - highly recommended.

Eric and Michael pay real attention to detail and the place is spotless as well as beautifully presented. A real bonus of staying here is the food, which is really good quality, locally sourced stuff. I would definitely recommend staying in for dinner at least one night and the breakfast is among the best I have had too.

We first stayed here in November, but liked it so much that we went back a few months later. The hall is set in a lovely little village, which has a couple nice pubs and another restaurant, although we preferred eating at the Hall.
