we have now visited dalesbridge as a group of 5 in our 9 man tent , no complaints as to yet , hence why we went a 2nd time , first time was in the hight of the heat wave we had we stopped for 2 nights it was rather busy at this time as to be expected with the sunshine but it was fine not cramped at all as there is such a vast amount of space your not on each others toes , and we are not very social campers we like our own company so it was perfect ,
2nd time was just last week in the rain !!! it was fine tho well drained areas and on our first night we had the whole field to our selves going into the weekend a coupe more campers turned up both times we were woken by noisy campers not following the 11pm qiuet rule , its fine we dont mind talking but when your screaming and playing loud music it gets a bit much , a subtle shout about respect shut them up !!
toilets well maintianed and are a plenty theres even a pub on site , we didnt visit it so i cant comment , the check in is well maintained and the guys in there are very helpful ! , i would definately reccommend this site !

Having been totally messed about by Langcliffe Campsite down the road (avoid!!) , we came across Dalesbridge. We arrived to find two of the friendliest people we could wish to meet. Helpful and polite at all times. Went out of their way to assist us in many ways which included locking keys in car being one!! Even lent us a hoover to clean mess in car!! Excellent weekend and we shall certainly be visiting again... thank you so much for your helpful approach and kindness x

The staff had left key n note for us as we arrived late, good communication. Rooms were very adequate n we had a 4 bunk room for just 2 of us.good price n great location. The only criticism would be that the cutlery was dirty n we had to scrub it before could use.also the plates/cups were sparce n old/chipped. I know this isn't a disaster but if we pay the money for something it would be nice to get it.overall I would recommend n definately stay again.

Well drained!!! Even the campers with 4x4 were having to take a run at the gate. The notice in the shower/toilet states "please leave these facilities as you would wish to find it", unfortunately I didn't have a broom, cleaners and disinfectant with me.
Everything needs a general good clean and lick of paint. This site is cheap for a reason and being cheap it attracts groups that families may find difficult to sleep near.

Room Tip: back packers or groups may find this acceptable

We booked 3 units for our assault on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. They are clean & tidy for bunkhouses. There are plenty of extra loos & showers close by, though any time someone flushes you get a sound like an express train rushing by inside the bunkhouses. We visited the Game Cock Inn for food & drinks, which was very good, though the (English) manager was a bit grumpy. Good location for the 3 Peaks.

After completing the 3 peaks, it was a welcome relief to find this accommodation so close by.
The rooms were ok, shower lovely and hot, plenty of cups, plates and cutlery.
It was basic but what do people what when the cost is only £15 each if 4 are staying in a bunkhouse!!

We have just returned from another excellent weekend at Dalesbridge. Ovver the years I have stayed in the house on a B&B basis, camped and stayed in the four and six bedded bunkhouses.
Dalesbridge caters for the outdoor person, and this is also reflected in the B&B, so yes there may be a bit of dust and a lack of 'quality toiletries' in the shower room, but when we stayed we had a good nights sleep, in a decent ensuite room with an very large cooked breakfast.
The bunkhouses are, by bunkhouse, standard on the luxury side!! The 6 bunk rooms have a seating area, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and an assortment of crockery and cutlery ( not always 6 of everything!). Yes there are cobwebs and the shower room is a little dated but the water is hot and the bunks are comfy. There are also picninc tables outside, so you can BBQ etc .
It can get a little noisy at times with traffic from the road and other groups can get rowdy but generally noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm.
There are showers and toilets also available on the camping field, which we occasionally use if there is a queue!!
If you dont fancy cooking, there is a pub in the nearby village - but is overpriced and the food wasn't very good last time we went. Settle is near enough and has pubs, cafes, Indian restaurants and fish n chip shops.
Dalesbridge is the ideal place for friends to have a good time together at a resonable cost. It is comparable in price to a Youth Hostel and at Dalesbridge you get your own toilet and cooking facilities!! The owners had no qualms about us 'dressing' up a bunk house for a '50' party and are friendly. The setting is perfect for the Yorkshire Dales with plenty of activities from the door, walking, show caves, biking.
Can't wait for our next visit.
PS - forgot - there is a bar on site as well.
