As a silver wedding anniversary treat we went back to the Crab and Lobster and stayed in the Bora Bora themed room- lovely. The room is in three sections, lounge with widescreen TV, then the bedroom with another wise screened TV and finally the bathroom with a large roll top bath, endless amounts of hot water, fluffy white towels and bathrobes. Outside the hot tub for two was clearly new and deliciously hot. A walk around the grounds before dinner in the Crab and Lobster restaurant perked up the appetite and the food was generous in its portions. Although fish is the majority of menu selections there is a fine choice of vegetarian offers as well as chicken and other meat options. Service was amazingly swift and courteous but without being pushy or intrusive. The desserts were outstanding and beautifully presented. It's not the cheapest meal around but considering how much you get to eat it's not unreasonably priced. The best advice would be to have a look at the menu online at www.crabandlobster.co.uk before you go because otherwise the choice can be a challenge to narrow down. All in all a nice place to treat yourself .

What an incredible place, most certainly the best place I've stayed. Walking through the front door into the unique and adventurous hallway quickly denotes the experience; it's impeccably decorated, painstakingly meticulous and giving a real sense that you've arrived somewhere amazing. We stayed in Raffles which was a beautiful, large and well-decorated room with it's own hot tub and sauna, not to mention the deep bath and ultra-comfortable bed. Oh, and there's a Secret Beer Tap. Naturally. What's more is the restaurant just a walk through the garden is beautiful, fantastic food and an excellent atmosphere - the service was fantastic. The only criticism I could make, and I am struggling, is that the main hot tub closes at 21:30 which I think is unnecessary, and also the staff on reception and the porter struggled to crack a smile. How they manage not to smile in such a unique place is an achievement in itself.

Room Tip: The Raffles has a private hot tub and sauna, and there's no time to get out of the hot tub if yo...

My husband brought me here for our wedding anniversary. We were delighted with the Cipriani Palace room having recently been to Venice. You must look it up on the website. Huge roll top bath with Molton Brown everything including mouth wash and lip balm. Communal hot tub and sauna just outside. Would like to go again and get more stamps on their passport to claim some free goodies. If you are visiting the area look it up and stay.

Stayed in Bellagio for our wedding anniversary which is not in the main Manor but in a separate building with another room next door and I think one above too. The bathroom was huge and opulent, room smaller than anticipated but had everything you needed. We had our own hot tub which was immaculately clean and very private.
Quiet surroundings with very little noise from other guests making it totally relaxing.
I love the restaurant and how quirky it is, really something out of the ordinary. The food is really good too. I had the fish assiette (fish served a variety of ways) which was pretty good (the battered fish which was to die for). My husband had the chicken terrine and the halibut (if I remember rightly) and he thought it was beautiful.
There is a great choice for breakfast and my scrambled eggs were amazing.
The staff were brilliant, polite, genuine and down to earth. The place is very unpretentious.
A fantastic, romantic experience and I can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Room with your own hot tub if you can.

We have just returned from an overnight stay to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary, having got married at the Crab Manor in 2013.

The room was lovely and clean (Villa Serbelloni). Great sleep although a little warm during the night however once the air conditioning was put on it soon cooled down. The decor and furniture were great and we would definately stay in the room again.

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast - all of which were great There was enough time between courses to be able to relax and enjoy our meal. Breakfast appeared to be a little more rushed than our previous visits although I question whether this may be due to the majority of guests leaving it until as late as possible to have breakfast meaning their was a rush of people!

I have commented in previous reviews about the Crab and Lobster not having a 'personal' touch however I must say on this occasion that it was lovely that Yann remembered us from our wedding last year. He came to across to speak to us which was really lovely - he also took the time to ask us how we were.

A few things have changed since our previous visits - an area outside Bird Island has now been paved which we beleive is for the better! the crips provided in the room have changed from a packet to a tub, unfortunatly they are not as nice as the previous crisps! and the venue has added a iron walkway for the weddings outside the Crab Manor conservatory, we did not like the look of it and certainly would not have wanted this for our wedding!

Check-in and out was relitively quick and the receptionist when checking-out was particulary friendly and took the time to ask about our stay. We can't wait to go back and have booked for our second year wedding anniversary although we are hoping to visit before then!

Stayed at Crab Manor in Villa Serbelloni, this is a garden room with its own hot tub. The room and bathroom are absolutely gorgeous. This was our first visit to Crab Manor and we were very impressed by all the friendly staff, the amazing gardens and of course the hidden beer tap. We had dinner in the Crab and Lobster and even on a Tuesday evening was very busy with diners enjoying delicious food and wine. Loved the menu!! It is expensive but for a special occasion well worth it.

Room Tip: Only been the once but the garden rooms are fabulous
