Stayed 4 nights while attending a course in Wetherby. Staff friendly. Room was fine just as expected. Food was mostly good in the restaurant but varied depending on the chef. Soup was the same for all 4 nights and gammon was never available otherwise would've been 5 stars! Funny how the simplest issues could be so easily sorted. Somebody teach the chefs how to get their shopping done and make different soup please!!

We have just returned from a weekend at York.
I have stayed at a lot of Premier Inn hotels through work and leisure, and this one is one of the better ones.
The food in restaurant is very good, we ate there twice of an evening and both meals were very enjoyable.
The staff are very friendly, and helpful.

Room Tip: If arriving at night the roads around the hotel have no street lighting whatsoever, we arrived in dr...

One of the best Premier inns I’ve stayed in. The rooms are well decorated and really comfortable.
Although the hotel is situated near a busy dual carriageway the secondary glazing keeps out the traffic noise.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are serviced to a high standard.
A lot of other hotels could learn some lessons from the staff who work here.
Thanks to all the team for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Stayed here because of the trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were excellent and really cared about their customers.
No noise from the A64 and very good food in our opinion.
Definitely worth booking.

My wife and I stayed here between xmas and new year. As always, the room was clean, airy and quiet. The staff, again as always were welcoming and helpful. Our only gripe was that both the selection and quantity of food has declined since our last stay in a premier inn.
My meal of steak and ale pie consisted of a nice pie about 10 very small green beans a small amount of chips and a tiny boat of gravy. As we all know, veg is still cheap and at the very least I would have expected some carrots and maybe sprouts as well as more chips and gravy.
My wife who is not a chip fan could not find boiled potatoes for any meals.

The breakfasts are also expensive if one only wants a small breakfast. We had two dinners at a Wetherspoons pub in York that were about £10.00 cheaper than the hotel and they were generous portions and good food. Their breakfasts were about half the price than the hotel. Though they were not all you can eat, they were enough.

If the meals do not improve we will not eat in a premier inn restaurant again.

Another issue was that the wifi would not connect.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, it's quitter.

Excellent value for money. We only paid £29 for a double room! You can't get much better than that... and it was clean, warm and had everything we needed on our recent stay in York. The location was ideal too. All in all, a great hotel. Highly recommended.
