Can't really fault this Premier Inn. Good location very near the Park and Ride and easy access to York itself if you're using the car to drive in. The room was clean and the fittings and facilities a good standard. The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. This Premier Inn has it's own 'Thyme' restaurant which has a good menu and I prefer to the chain restaurants that normally provide catering for them. Would happily recommend for a good location near York.

The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and clean! We had the meal deal which included an evening meal with a drink and a premier breakfast! Our meal was 3 courses and the steak was mouthwatering!
The breakfast as always in the premier inns was delicious and choices of everything from cereal, toast, croissants to fruit, yoghurt or full English hot breakfast.
5 minute drive up the A64 and you turn off for York city, we jumped on the park & ride @ Tesco, it was £2.70 return and we spent a lovely day in York!

Found the room to be spotlessly clean and in a good state of repair. The bathroom was immaculate and looked brand new. Reception staff was helpful and the hotel is no more than 5-6 minutes drive from the Park and Ride to York centre. Despite being next to the main road, we heard no traffic noise at all and slept well both nights. Couldn't ask for more.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, it was our first break without the kids in 15 years so we were really looking forward to it.

The check in was very efficient and we had a lovely room on the top floor, the glazing was excellent as we could hardly hear the traffic on the main road nearby.

If you are going to stay in a Premier Inn, make sure that you have their breakfast, it's extremely good value and very tasty. I must give special praise to the young girl serving breakfasts here as on the last day I couldn't decide whether to have the light brekkie or the full premier b'fast and mucked her about a but yet she was as nice a ninepence and couldn't have been more helpful.

My one complaint over the entire stay was with the night shift lady. Who was working on the 2nd night of our stay. There is a lock on the front door of the hotel which your room key card will open, the night staff member however had taken it upon herself to manually lock the door from the inside. This left the key card unusable and this left my wife and I and also another family of 5 or 6 with young kids banging at the front door for about 10 minutes until the worker heard us and came to let us in.

Overall though, it is a great place to stay, no parking worries, and easy access to all that Yorkshire has to offer.

The staff were very welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely stay there again
the rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable I enjoyed breakfast. It would be a good idea to have a shuttle service into York.

Lovely friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy room, just very noisy from the room above which caused us to have broken sleep and left us tired throughout our sight seeing.
Really poor sigh posting off the motorway especially when dark.

Yet another last Saturday in January 'mass booking'.

Been using this Inn for 5-6years now, always so welcoming after a long day out and about.

Made welcome every year, even know we'll be in bar if there's any one else trying to check in when we arrive.

Even better now they started doing 7am Sunday breakfasts for 14+ of us as well.

Rooms comfy and whilst Vale of York can catch the weather, always warm inside and beds are comfy.
