We stayed here while visiting family so we know the area, which is a great place to visit.
The Hotel is one of the best. The staff are all very efficient but pleasantly informal, the rooms are immaculate and the food exceeded our expectations.
Have no doubts, just book your stay and enjoy!

Room Tip: We received an upgrade to Kildale which was roomy, clean and extremely comfortable.

My wife and I have just spent three days at this hotel with the aim of having a relaxing break. We achieved the aim and enjoyed our time there very much. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by peaceful countryside. We were in the Kingfisher room that was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The sitting rooms and bar are all very comfortable with a splendid log fire in the entrance hall. The staff are all very attentive and friendly. One of the best aspects of this hotel is the food. It has a good table d'hôte menu that changes each day with a good range of choices and the quality of food is excellent. Breakfast provided a wide range of choices and I can recommend the Eggs Benedict. The only observation we would make was that, in the evening, the recorded music in the bar was dominating. It was not just background. There were only a few people there at the time and with more people there it may not have been so noticeable. I would recommend this hotel for relaxing, however you should try to avoid times when they may be busier with weddings parties are using the hotel. We will certainly be returning.

We stayed as a family for one night to celebrate my sons 21st birthday (who is a university in Middlesbrough) as we live in East Yorkshire. Everything about our stay was marvelous and all the staff where friendly and efficient. The evening meal was excellent and really enjoyed by us all.
Needless to say we will definitely return .

This is a beautiful place to stay. Everything is spotlessly clean, the food is superb, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff helpful and courteous. This is our 3rdvisit now and we plan more.

Room Tip: Have stayed in standard and deluxe rooms. Standard overlooked the gardens at back of hotel and the deluxe was at the front overlooking the car park and woods. Loved both.

A rather late review of a relaxing 3-day Christmas break at this comfortable hotel, which began with a delicious afternoon tea on arrival. The food was uniformly good - imaginative and freshly-cooked - with many non-residents arriving for festive meals. Christmas Day lunch was an occasion - served in a lovely function room overlooking woods, by pleasant and attentive staff. Festive decorations on each table were a lovely touch.

Our accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully kept. Grinkle Park hotel staff are to be commended - they worked tirelessly and cheerfully to ensure that guests had a enjoyable time - and they maintained very high standards of food, service and housekeeping throughout. We had a lovely Christmas break and would like to thank everyone who helped to make it so.
