I wanted a comfortable, friendly hotel for a weekend away with my mum and I couldn't have chosen better. We received a wonderful warm and friendly greeting at reception and instantly felt as if we were valued guests. Our lovely twin room was very spacious and extremely comfortable with a large bathroom and great views over the gardens. The room had all the little extras like mineral water, biscuits, quality magazines, ironing board, bathrobes, slippers.. and really nice and plentiful toiletries. It was incredibly clean and it was clear that the standard of housekeeping is extremely high. Every single member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly and that created such a relaxed and warm environment that we really didn't want to leave. We ate in the lounge area one evening and in the restaurant another and in both instances the standard of food was really good. I am just about to book again for a weekend at the end of the year, as this particular weekend was a real stress buster. Thanks for a lovely stay

I booked this hotel as a surpise for my wife and she absolutely loved it. We couldn't fault Grinkle Park, its a fabulous location with friendly staff, clean rooms, great restaurant and good value for money. We'll definately return even if its just to have afternoon tea which was amazing, didn't need to eat anything for the rest of the day!!

We stayed on the £99 'deal' as many have, which seemed to be fabulous value. A great afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes, then we relaxed in our lovely and large room.

Had a nice evening meal, fabulous starter of chicken terrine and mains were also lovely...although no chips!! : ) This is just me, but I really fancied a nice homemade burger and chips, but this wouldn't fit with the atmosphere, which is of a proper quality restaurant.

Breakfast next day was also good and they had a proper full range of papers available.

We did experience an issue in our room that prompted us to query with reception, who were quick to provide a solution and were polite/smart/helpful all the way through.

Would definitely return again and have no hesitation recommending.

Thank you for tasking the time to leave your feedback on the hotel. I appreciate your comments, and am genuinely delighted you had an enjoyable stay. Chips - albeit not on the A La Carte Menu are only a request away.
Once again thank you for your feedback and I look forward to welcoming back soon. Kind regards Richard Ibbott

Earlier this month we took two friends from Australia to Grinkle Park. They are frequent world wide travellers. After a previous visit my partner and I vowed to return as we had been overwelmed by the welcome and service we had received so we introduced our Oz friends to Grinkle Park experience. Grinkle Park did not let us down, Afternoon tea was an experience in itself. The staff are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Our friends compared it to staying in some top class hotels around the world. They loved it! A previous review complained about view from Azalea room. We also stayed in this room and through one window the bins are unfortunately, visible but beyond that your attention is drawn to the beautiful rolling moors or a second view across the wonderful approach to this beautiful hotel. The room is very large, well equipped with a large bathroom. We have booked to return next week. Well done to everyone involved with Grinkle Park!

Beautiful hotel quiet setting is enhanced by superb large rooms and facilities. The hotel was spotless and the staff both welcoming and helpful. Definate one to return too soon.
