This is our second visit to Reighton Sands Holiday Park and we will be back next year. We hired a Platinum Caravan and we were well pleased with the location, the van cleanliness and facilities within. We did have a faulty lamp which a phone call to reception had a handyman and an electrician out within 5 minutes and the lamp fixed. On day 3 of our stay the weather changed and we couldn't work out how to turn on the central heating once again a phone call to reception at 9am had a handyman out within 5 minutes and the heating working. Very windy that night but thats not Havens fault and we were snug as a bug. The panoramic sea view from our van was superb and the way the vans are positioned on site most must also enjoy the same sea views. Well done Reighton Sands

What a great review – thank you

It’s lovely to read that after two wonderful visits you will be back again next year too.

It sounds like your holiday home was perfect for you with wonderful views and that central heating you get with the higher grades is ideal for keeping you snug during the colder months. I can’t think of anything better than watching the waves rolling into the bay from the comfort of a cosy holiday home.

We look forward to your return next season.

Kind regards
Lesley Thurwell

First time at Reighton Sands, well sign posted and easy to find .
Were initially concerned by the closeness of our caravan to the entertainment centre , but were reassured by the reception staff that it wouldn't be noisy ( it wasn't ) and if we were unhappy they would move us .
Paid to have beds made up on arrival , good money spent ! An excellent service
Caravan was very clean and tidy on arrival and well stocked with equipment.

( A small minus point was , it would have been nice to have a toilet roll and a "guest" size piece of soap ready in the bathroom , especially as we had forgotten to bring any ! This was solved by a quick visit to the well stocked and reasonably priced Spar shop on site )

We ate at the Mash and Barrel most days , reasonably priced with good choice of menu .
A special thank you to Stephen our server, polite and cheerful , helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks .

All in all , a lovely clean, well maintained site and look forward to visiting again .

Hello Sally, thank you very much for posting a review for the benefit of others.

It’s great news that your first visit to our Reighton Sands was such a positive one with all aspects leaving a good impression.

The team do work hard to provide a clean, tidy and pleasant environment so that our guests can sit back and relax during their stay and it’s good to know that this is not going unnoticed.

Your lovely comments regarding Stephen your server in the Mash & Barrel have been passed onto him – to get a personal mention is brilliant and he is really grateful for your kind words.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future for another excellent break!

Kind regards

Booked a long weekend here and paid for an upgraded caravan for a a little R & R. Arrived Fri afternoon and we were checked in without any problem. The caravan was clean and spacious and fairly well equipped. Blow heating was in every room which was needed at night. The entertainment complex was pretty good with live shows on 2 nights out of the 3 we stayed but a little pricey on some items. The site was well maintained but was really remote (approx 5 miles to nearest town/village). Anyone there without transport are relying on buses that come onto the site to get elsewhere. Overall lovely site helpfull and pleasant staff but isolated.

Hello there thank you for taking the time to post a review.

It sounds like you found the park adequate for your needs with all areas meeting your expectations.

Although we are a little out of the way we are ideally located for that peace and quiet that is often needed from the busy lifestyles of today, but not too far from the lovely seaside towns of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough if you fancy a day out.

We hope to see you back at our lovely site again sometime in the near future.

Kind regards

First time at a Haven site and it will be our last. Paid for an upgrade and though the caravan was fairly clean it was old, worn and drab. The bedding was clean but ancient. Given the cold nights in October the bathrooms had no heating so were freezing at night and the heaters in the bedrooms are so noisy that you cannot leave them on at night. Paid £60 for 3 days entertainment passes what a rip off! Nothing for teenagers and the pool is too small and shallow to have a proper swim in. As for evening entertainment you pay over the odds for drinks to sit in a crowded room with dirty and ripped seats to listen to third rate bands. The rock and roll bingo only has children's prizes nothing for adults. At night there was a fairly constant stream of drunk and loud people trooping past our caravan (we had requested a quiet spot and we had been assured that it was!) up til 1am in the morning. The site it's self is clean and easy access to the beach if you don't mind the climb. Staff in the spar and the door staff were very friendly. Given the price we had paid feel we did not get value for money and won't be returning.

Thank you for your review of our Reighton Sands

I am very sorry that the park wasn’t really for you. For future reference if you do decide to book with Haven again I would recommend our deluxe plus or prestige range of holiday homes as these come with the additional heating in the bedrooms and bathrooms that can be needed during the colder months.

Haven is known for being a provider of family holidays therefore much of our entertainment is based around this. Our funstars work very hard to keep our guests entertained and the standard of the visiting live acts has been generally high this season with plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

It is difficult for me to comment on your booking without knowing the details. If you would like to contact me personally at reightontripadvisor@haven.com I will be happy to look into this further for you.

Even though it is unlikely that you will be returning to us here I do hope that this will not deter you from visiting one of our other parks in the future.

Kind regards
