First visit. Arranged an overnight stay as my wife had two days of meetings in the area. Accommodation, setting and service were all wonderful. Reduced stress level to zero very quickly. Altogether an excellent experience and we have already booked to spend another two nights later in the year for my wife's birthday and our anniversary.

Booked this as a last minute suprise for Overworked husband on a Sunday night. It did what was needed and I went back to work the next day with a much more relaxed husband. The room was like our own apartment, the bed was luxurious and the service, meal and breakfast was second to none. Got a deal on the rate so felt we got very good value for money. Would love to come back again in the summer to see the gardens in full bloom.

This was our second visit, we stayed for 3 nights and had a completely relaxing time, the staff are attentive and friendly, nothing is a problem for them. The setting is ideal, peaceful and scenic, plenty to visit it you feel inclined. Will certainly be going back.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Lascelles Suite, four poster bed, sunken jaccuzzi bath, projector screen for TV or...

We stayed two nights in this wonderful Hall (the word hotel does not do it justice)- it was everything we were expecting & more. The setting was fantastic, the accomodation perfect & the food excellent - the staff & members of the Family who own the Hall were all very friendly. On our second night we had the Bentley Dinner - a drink in the Hall's Library before being driven in a Bentley to Harrogate for a wonderful meal at William & Victoria's.
The village of Goldsborough is adjacent to the Hall & within easy walking distance - worth noting that the village Pub is closed on a Sunday night.

Room Tip: Guest rooms are on the second floor, the owners live on the first floor - rooms at the front & o...

Every year we treat ourselves to a night away in a nice hotel
Last weekend we stayed at Goldsborough Hall
This is without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed at
Accommodation luxurious and the building is beautiful
The staff were brilliant without been over the top and the food was gorgeous
Mark and Clare Oglesby the owners have clearly put a lot of hard work into saving this historic and beautiful building and they have done a great job
In fact the best bit was we actually felt we were guests in their home

Cannot wait to go again

For this one night stay we booked the Hanson suite to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. Goldsborough Hall exceeded all our expectations. The Suite we stayed in was gorgeous. The bed was huge and the room immaculate. The bathroom was lovely with his and hers sinks, separate remote controlled shower, jacuzzi bath and luxurious Molton Brown toiletries.

The attention to detail was fabulous, we had fresh fruit, fresh flowers, and a lovely hand written note from the owners of the Hall welcoming us.

The receptionist on duty was soo welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she really is a credit to Goldsborough Hall.

The grounds and the overall perfection made our first visit to Goldsborough Hall one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays we've ever experienced in a luxury hotel.
