Lovely cottage on the riverside. Lovely rooms without being intimidatingly over bearing. Mike was a great host - very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was first rate. I would stay there again unreservedly.

stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 nights. the cottage is quaint with lovely decorated rooms and comfy big beds. we had the privilege of looking out of the window to a view of the wonderful viaduct and made use of the outdoor balcony sitting having a cool glass of wine on the comfy seating. Mike our host was lovely nothing was too much trouble and his eggs benedict were to die for lol we had a lovely time and would recommend this beautiful place to anyone. thanks mike

We stayed one night, as we'd been at a wedding during the day. We dropped our bags before lunch and Mike gave us a key to let ourselves in after midnight.

Mike makes your stay perfect from the minute you arrive, nothing is too much trouble for him.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.

The breakfast choice is great, with locally sourced produce, tastes delicious and is delivered with a smile.

To top the already excellent service, Mike even gave us a lift back to the wedding venue to collect our car the following morning.

If you're thinking of a knaresborough stay, don't hesitate to book Teardrop Cottage.

This lovely property was perfect for a relaxing break. The room was very comfortable and more than well-equipped. We had access to a spacious roof terrace with stunning views. Mike was an excellent host and was always very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and there was plenty of variety. Mike also gave us passes to use the leisure club at the beautiful Nidd Hall which we thoroughly enjoyed. Knaresborough is a very beautiful town. Teardrop cottage was excellent value and I thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect place to spend a couple of days in the picturesque Knaresborough. Teardrop cottage is situated right by the river and beautiful old bridge, which we had views of from our room. Charming little cottage and the breakfast was top notch. Would definitely recommend.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay here; the room was fantastic (we stayed in the deluxe room with private garden), the breakfast was delicious, and the owner, Mike, was enouously helpful (even going so far as to order sunflowers from holland because I had requested them for the room, for which I paid a very reasonable price) friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend this gorgeous little cottage highly enough

I finally managed to book into this fantastic B & B after many months of trying to get my holidays to match the few vacant nights free. Mike made us welcome from the very moment we set foot in his home. The place is perfect I couldn't believe that I would find such a place at a very reasonable price but we did and are really pleased we chose teardrop cottage. The breakfast is superb and the rooms are excellent this really is one to try. My only regret is that we only managed to book one night. Thanks Mike for making our stay a relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back to try out the hospitality once again
