This is our fourth time visiting the 'Dower House' and although every time we've been has been a charm, this was the most delightful of our stays. My daughter and I are always staying in hotels but it's safe to say that this is one of the best hotels. Starting of with a pleasant and warm welcome from the receptionist lady, we made our way up to our room. We stayed in room 8, the most cosy, gorgeous and beautiful room in the hotel I think! I had the most comfortable sleep and woke up feeling very sleepy. All the staff are so kind and helpful, and they provided us with all our needs. The cleaning staff do their job very well as our room was tidy and looked the way it did when we first checked in. My breakfast (haddock and poached eggs) was done perfectly and my daughters eggs were cooked to a high standard. The 'Imagine' spa was relaxing and quintessential. A lovely spa complex. Knaresborough is a beautiful market town, the perfect place to locate such a wonderful hotel, and I do recommend that you stay here. One particular member of staff I have to mention is Alison whose customer service & care is like no other. I am looking forward to returning to this delightful hotel with my daughter for more special times.
