Called in for the beer (pub is in CAMRA Good Beer Guide) but stayed for the food. We both had sandwiches and chips, which was very tasty. In fact the chips were to die for. A couple came in after us and had the sausage sandwich, which caused immediate food envy. Four whole sausages in a bap. Staff were very friendly.

Day trip to Richmond popped into pub for some lunch. Waitress told us our food would be here soon and we had not even ordered yet ha ha. Ordered coffee and pie of the day. Coffee was lukewarm but food was very nice and plenty of it I would go here again even with ditzy staff

Had a good traditional pub lunch in this pub in the centre of Richmond. Great value and set us up for the rest of the day.

I have just visited with ny fiance and we are glad to get away! We ordered and all seemed well until my lasagne arrived in under 10mins... concerning! I discoved straight away that it wasnt even warm. The waiter took it away and inam guessing the chef nuked it as it returned in under 5mins. As for the taste.. somewhere between cat food and spam. Left most of it. Add this to the fact my fiance asked for mineral water and got tap, this was changed and served in a chipped glass, we where not allowed to sit in the bar to eat but a local ordered and ate in there 10 mins later. In all a terrible experience. We could do nothing but laugh at the end as it was so bad.
