Prior to visiting Richmond on a Sunday, we had researched trip advisor to look for a Sunday lunch location and came across The Unicorn.

This is a typical small town pub, with a good sized beer garden in an ideal location just set back from the main market square.

We arrived just before 12:00 and were able to order our choices. Main course is £7.95 or you could opt for 3 courses for £9.95. We had the Beef and the Belly Pork. Both are served with Yorkshire Pudding, Mashed Potato & Roast Potato's, a separate bowl of veg and also a gravy boat. The food was gorgeous.

The staff were friendly, service was really good & we will be returning back very soon.

If your in the area, then I would highly recommend a visit to the Unicorn.

Went to The Unicorn for lunch when we were passing through Richmond with our dog. It is a proper old fashioned pub, the barmaid was very welcoming and our food was freshly cooked and really tasty. We were also asked if everything was okay; how refreshing to be asked by someone who clearly cares if everything was okay and was pleased that it was!

This place has improved leaps and bounds under the current landlord and landlady. They are so welcoming and the introduction of food is a great addition. All home cooked and locally sourced as much as possible, Jay is an asset to the business! We have also tried the breakfast at a weekend and whilst it may seem a little more expensive, drinks and toast are included so is a bargain really - with the plateful you get!!

Just walking past The Unicorn when we noticed Pie and Pint on special. Couldn't resist going in and trying it out.
Curry great, beer well kept and individual service with a sense of humour.
A nice old fashioned pub with a new chef. Real custard with the puddings or ice cream made on the premises. No room left to try the gourmet burghers but, they just have to be good.
