Very fiendly and welcoming hosts - we only stayed 1 night but felt like we were their friends from the moment we arrived. Great location, just 3 mins from the top of the village, and if you're lucky you can park outside (as we did). Very clean and well presented room, with fridge, wine glasses and cork-screw for good measure! Breakfast was very nice, and the fresh fruit a nice touch. Excellent service, thank you.

Just finished the C to C and what a joy to stay here for the weekend. The hosts have got it just right in that they are friendly and make you feel like they really want you here and I believe they do! The rooms are great, the beds are well comfy and the breakfasts yummy. It's a shame they don't take dogs as we would be here all the time! Come to this B & B and RHB it is the best!! We have stayed in 14 B & B through the walk and this was the best one.

Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and with thoughtful little extras like the corkscrew and wine glasses.

The breakfasts are excellent, I loved the fresh fruit salad, and great to have a choice of cooked breakfasts - the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was delicious!

Perfect base for exploring the delightful Robin Hood's Bay, and nearby Whitby. Looking forward to planning my next trip already!

Stayed one night with my husband & 2 children. Stayed in rooms 1 & 2. Superking in room 2!. Fridges, corkscrew and wine glasses supplied in rooms, which of course we had to use! Bought some wine at the local shop!. Breakfast was the best we have ever eaten in any hotel, along with some homemade flapjacks & banana bread which you could take as a snack. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Definitely would return for a 2nd visit.

Walked to Whitby instead of watching the Royal blub fest, bet we had more fun! What a fabulous weekend, wouldn't have changed a thing, excellent breakfast x 2, accommodation - very high spec and fabulous hosts Peace and quiet when you want it and time for a chat when you don't. Perfect.... I''d like this place to stay my secret but it's too good not to share. We're back on Friday.

This was our third stay at Streonshalh, and Deb and Kev continue to make improvements to what was already an excellent B&B. This time we found a lovely new shower room, and Deb encouraged us to take her home-baked muffins and flapjacks to eat on our walks. Streonshalh provides a wonderfully warm welcome for everyone who stays, attention to detail, an excellent breakfast and a good night's sleep in an extremely convenient location.
