A large group of us ate in the cafe here and I can safely say this is the worst haddock I have ever eaten. It was not fresh, it tasted nasty and somehow (I have no idea how) it was chewy. I left most of it. Other people ate it, but said it was only edible with the batter - they were being generous.
They charged more for the meal than local restaurants, that looked much nicer and were certainly much cleaner. (Unfortunately, although we tried a couple, they were not serving fish and chips and some of our party had set their minds on that).
In addition the cafe smelt none too clean - I very much regret not going with my first instinct and leaving immediately.
One of the few places that said they couldn't provide tap water - no idea why.
The guy who served us was nice, but I would never go here again and strongly suggest anyone even considering it goes elsewhere.
