“EXCELLENT! A Superb Cottage.”
Reviewed 17 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

This cottage was a real treat with it's spacious, well decorated and tastefully furnished rooms. Well equiped kitchen. There is everything you need to self cater though we did eat out. Ideally situated to get around Robin Hoods bay and investigate the other delightful fishing villages etc. I would however add a word of warning to those with very young children or who have mobility problems, the stairs are very steep in the cottage. We had a wonderful stay and may well book again.

Liked best: The view from the kichen window looking onto the bay was one of the best features. though it's dificult to select a "BEST" one as it's of such a high quality.
Liked least: Stairs were very steep.

“The Most Beautiful Views Of The Bay”

My husband and I spent a week in Bramble Cottage. It was by far the coziest cottage. Flowers and a bottle of wine awaited us upon arrival. The cottage was amazingly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possible need if you felt the need to self cater. We chose to eat out in the local pubs and restaurants which were only a few minutes walk from the cottage. The cottage has a private garden/patio facing the Bay. We enjoyed the bottle of wine while looking out at the Bay. To sit and have a morning cup of tea at the kitchen table while taking in the most amazing views of the Bay is very rare for a cottage in Robin Hood's Bay. When the washer/dryer "locked' up on our clothes the owner contacted an electrician immediately and the repair took place within a few hours. A wonderful cottage in a beautiful place and one we would love to return to.

“Beautiful, seasdide cottage couldnt be nicer.”
Reviewed 2 June 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Great Seaside cottage, well equipped and beautifully decorated, fantastic location, could'nt improve it really, if you have young children though you need to be careful as there is 2 sets of very steep stairs.

“The photographs really do not do this gorgeous property justice”

Whoever kitted this property out has superb taste, and yet it feels so cosy welcoming and warm. A leisurely breakfast whilst gazing out to sea is a real treat, and the location superb plus an ideal base for visiting other seaside towns nearby. We did not want to go home, but we would love to come back.

“Perfect home from home”
Reviewed 14 September 2011 for a stay in January 2011

I have been meaning to put a review on for this wonderful cottage for 3 years and as I have just booked it again for the 4th time I feel I really should. If your looking for a cosy comfortable beautifully decorated cottage this is the place for you. The picture doesnt do it justice, it looks really small but from the front its a 3 storey brick fronted building with lots of living space to enjoy and chill out in. Its very clean and comfortable and has all the charm of an old building but with modern new England decoration. On arrival its wonderful to find a bottle of wine and flowers waiting to welcome you to begin your holiday. And all this with a lovely sea view and thats hard to find in Robin Hoods Bay with its small alleyways and streets.
