Owner description: The Original Robin Hood’s Bay Ghost WalkTake a Unique Tour through Streets and Alleyways as you listen to Tales of the Strange and Supernatural set against a background of Smugglers, Sailors and Shipwrecks, Folklore and Legend.Meet at the Slipway in the Dock outside the Visitor Centre. There is also a Board showing times, next to the Slipway on days of Walks. This walk is designed to suit most ages. Adult only groups receive a different kind of story to groups with children. I have to adapt it accordingly. But overall it is meant to amuse, entertain, to be thought provoking, informative and inclusive, regardless of age. However, the walk is not suitable for small infants (under 3), babies and pushchairs. Also due to previous experience, regrettably dogs are no longer allowed on the walk.

Better than we expected. We've been to RHB so many times but the walk took us to parts we didn't know existed. Some fascinating and well delivered stories. Probably would have liked it to go on a little longer so we could see just a bit more and hear a few more stories as RHB is an amazing place full of history. Can't grumble for the price though and we'd definitely recommend this. Good for all ages

A very good experiance on the walk, leaves plenty of imagineative thoughts, lol
The bay itself is charming and has a kind of magic that attaches itself to you.
If you are thinking of visiting the bay then I can recommend a stay at b&b number 2 elm grove,
Its clean friendly and they do a good breakfast.
This place is at the top of the hill but is really a good base, we really enjoyed our stay oct 2013.

I have done this walk a few times and I haven't tired of it. Its a great evening walk. The giude is very knowledgable about the history of Whitby and the Dracula story.

Fantastic walking tour of Robin Hoods Bay. Great way to explore the winding streets of the village and hear all about its fascinating history and spooky past. The stories were engaging, fun and entertaining. The tour flew by and I was left wanting more!

You must do this!

We went on the walk over the bank holiday weekend and had a great time. Lots of interesting and spooky stories and the opportunity to walk beautiful, historic alley ways we'd have never found by ourselves. The guide was really knowledgable and delivered the stories in a really fun and interesting way. We really enjoyed it, for £5 it's great value for money! Would go again and certainly recommend!
