“A home from home in a fab location and excellent value”

Just spent a lovely weekend in this holiday rental. It is a home from home, very comfortable which was very handy as part of the weekend was very wet and we spent a couple of evenings just relaxing in the property and watching the huge screen TV.
The property is very well appointed and when we arrived the owner had provided tea and coffe and luxury biscuits. There were also two vases of fresh flowers.
Everything was very clean, there were all the amenities and utensils you could want and wi fi was included. It easily accommodates four people and represented very good value over a bank holiday weekend. It was very quiet at night but close to restaurants and amenities ( I can recommend the Wayfarer Bistro and the Smugglers) . RBH Is a beautiful seaside village but also very handy for exploring the North Yorks Moors and of course Whitby. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this good value rental property.

Liked best: Nearly all of it especially the fact the rooms are spacious and bright.
Liked least: The bathroom is downstairs.

“A case of "You get what you pay for" we thought”
Reviewed 22 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This house is relatively cheap to rent compared to others in RHB and this seemed to be a case of 'you get what you pay for' unfortunately. Good points - good size rooms, very comfy bed, dog friendly, convenient for all village facilities. Bad points - bathroom very old fashioned and rather mouldy, shower screen leaked a lot so bathroom floor always wet and no towel racks, towels inadequate in size (barely covered!) and some very old and tatty (if we'd known this we would happily have taken our own), kitchen poorly stocked as regards utentils and for oven cooking, not enough clothes hangers in wardrobes. Main problem was that fridge barely worked, even on max setting - good job it was a cool week or I think our milk etc would have gone off very quickly - it seems they were already aware the fridge was functioning poorly as it was on max when we arrived. We thought they would have been better to spend a few pounds on some new towels and extra bits (eg new loo brush, bathroom bin, bathroom towel rack, clothes hangers, utentils) rather than buying the enormous TV! Also get the fridge fixed or replaced. Despite this, we enjoyed exploring the RHB area.

“Even better than expected”
Reviewed 30 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Lovely house. Pictures don't do it full justice in fact. Clean, very spacious, superb location, nicely situated at the top of the bay but still close and very handy for the beach, and with all the facilities you could want for a stay, plus a few extra nice touches thrown in. Would definitely stay again

“Really lovely accommodation and great location”
Reviewed 14 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The accommodation is really good - spacious (there were 3 of us but it would be for 4 too); comfortable; everything we could need, including being next to the shop. And the location at Robin Hood's Bay is just ideal for walks as well as for getting to bigger seaside locations. Would be very happy to book again (though I also see it's well booked up presumably for the very same reasons).
