On a lovely sunny day this would be a great place to stop. It was rainy when we visited - table of 5 - but the place was still busy.
Food was fine and well priced; decent selection of dishes. We ate well for £70 all in.
Poor service let it down. I don't mind a mistake but several in succession was too much. The most annoying bit is not getting what we had ordered. I'd come on an office lunch outing but I couldn't trust it for a serious business trip. Get the service up to scratch and you could have a
very fine farm restaurant here.
