“A local favorite.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

When someone moves out of the area, Jim's hot dogs are what people eat when they come to visit. The root beer is great. Only open in the summer, and closes before the Darke County Fair starts the end of August. I love to take the convertible and enjoy the car-hop service.

“Still has carhops”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2014

This is a seasonal restaurant, open only in the summer. Their Spanish hotdogs are famous and they stay busy all summer long. Prices are a little high and you feel you must tip, even if you get the food to go, since the carhops still come to your car and bring your order. The rootbeer is the best and their loaded fries are delicious.

“Step back in time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2013

This is what Sonic tries to be but fall short of succeeding…a small, drive-up with curb service that feels like a step back in time. Good burgers, dogs, fries, and milkshakes! A fun and authentic experience.
