We booked for a trip up to Silverstone, even though we had booked the wrong date, we were welcomed and shown to a lovely room. Yes, the bathroom was small, as has been written, but that's a small price to pay these days when everything else was immaculate and nothing was too much trouble. Personally, I like the wooden floors, it was 100% dust free! If I had to make one constructive criticism, it would be that the decor in the restaurant doesn't reflect the quality and panache of the food. The food was exceptional, and breakfast divine. (Even though hubby missed having baked beans with his fry up!). We would definitely come back. Loved the place and the fabulous owner and her staff. Thank you for a great stay. V&D

A very pretty location, quite hidden away and yet only 5 mins from a main road.

Room was absolutely clean and tidy, overlooking the front of the premises. The hotel is in a quiet street meaning that you could have windows open without much fear of being disturbed.

The bed was very comfortable, and linen excellent. The room was reasonably sized, and my only criticism would be that the shower cubicle was small and a bit outdated (high tray and curtain as opposed to door). However it all worked, and for the sensible price for the room, this represents good value.

I've seen (adverse) comments about the wooden floors - frankly, it worked for me and what could be cleaner.

There is an absolutely charming garden to the rear, which possibly few people either notice or use but it's a gem.

Ate here last night with a new man!!! From the minute we were greeted as we got out of a taxi to the minute we got in one to return home we were treated marvellously. The staff were excellent, polite , friendly and well presented.
The food was to die for.... Perfect portions! We were the last to leave the restaurant but in no way felt rushed. Quite the contrary - the owner spent time chatting, speaking with passion about her hotel.
I will definitely be returning. With the same man? Let's wait and see!!

Room was okay but only a VERY tiny bathroom with shower and toilet which was very claustrophobic. Wash basin was in the bedroom. No instructions for the power shower but hey ho the bed was very comfortable. I have to give the room (a twin) average, but I have to give the breakfast a big YES.....lovely locally sourced smoked bacon, a perfect fried egg and although I could have eaten more the breakfast was NOT a pre heated bag of rubbish. Price is reasonable and if you want to visit Silverstone as I did then I would recommend. Cannot comment on dinner as I didn't have dinner

This is some of the best food we have eaten. The menu's choices are unusual and interesting.
The presentation is fantastic but taste and perfect cooking is not sacrificed.
The staff are welcoming and make the experience even more pleasant.
It really beats many of the acclaimed restaurants we have been lucky enough to have visited over the years and for Northamptonshire it is truly an amazing find.

We were taken here for a special meal at Christmas. We really enjoyed the lunch. Three choices for each course and everyone was pleased with what they had. I had a chocolate dessert which was amazing. Ambience is great. We were the only people there at lunchtime! Would recommend for a special occasion

Room Tip: We only used the restaurant
