Very nice and clean, small but all you need to have a nights sleep. Excellent for track days as you are already at the track. The bar could do with more choice for my liking but still not bad. ++++++++++++++

We needed to be at Silverstone for an early start for a driving experience so being able to stay in reasonably priced accomodation in the middle of the circuit was a no brainer. Yes the room is tiny but having read the reviews before we booked our expectations weren't unreasonable

OK you have to coordinate movement around and within the room if there's two of you. However it was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from our immediate neighbours. I can think of a few B&B owners who could learn a lot about what constitutes a comfortable nights sleep from a night in a Snoozebox.

The staff were always very friendly and breakfast although a bit limited (just cereals and bacon/ sausage rolls) was sufficient to take us all the way through to lunch.

Would we stay there again? Yes.

Without wishing to be rude, I can only think that the "excellent" reviews are written either by the designers of these converted containers or by families of the owners or simply petrolhead racing fanatics wearing rose tinted specs.
First the good news. The whole place is new and thus clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff, or those I met, are all very friendly and helpful and hard-working. All credit to them.
Now for a reality check. This "Hotel" is made of converted 40 foot sea-containers as can probably be seen from their own photos. Unfortunately, each "room" is a quarter of a sea container as each container is made in to four rooms. That means each room is no bigger than about 7 feet by nine feet i.e. tiny. These are without doubt the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in anywhere including New York, London, Hong Kong etc. where real estate is extremely expensive and, in fact, my small camper van has more space in it! This is effectively in a big field in Northamptonshire with a race track and loads of space around it.
Firstly, there is no opening window and the air-con is, of course, noisy. Either you can sleep with that or you can't.
You enter the room through a door which has the only porthole type window in it (non opening). Immediately on one side is the sizeable double bed above which is a single bunk bed across the foot of it. In front you have some storage and to the other side you have the glass partition which is the bathroom, wetroom style. That means the only standing floor space is about three feet six by two feet six I'd say. Two adult standing there would not have enough space even to change their clothes at the same time.
The bathroom is the full width of the unit so is about 7 feet by not much more than two feet six thus very narrow. If you have a shower, half the floor ends up wet even if you're careful.which is then a nuisance if you need to go back in again. The partition between the bathroom and bedroom is frosted glass as I said so you have no real privacy when taking a shower or using the loo which may well matter to many. If you have a large suitcase, there is simply nowhere to put it apart from maybe being able to slide one suitcase under the bed. Sorry for talking feet and inches but containers are imperial based measurements so it's easier.
Since the main double bed is surrounded by walls on three sides, someone has to clamber across to the far side. Likewise, there is no proper ladder to the bunk apart from (I assume) using the draws that have cutouts in the top presumably that fit feet as I didn't try it. Either that or you have to jump up from the main bed!
All in all, a very difficult place to rate as it does not compare with any other hotel I've stayed in. It would be better than camping in a wet muddy field or these units would be great as temporary accommodation after a natural disaster like an earthquake or Tsunami but calling it a hotel is, to my mind, stretching the imagination.
Food is ok but a bit basic but they have a captive audience as you would have to drive to go anywhere else.
At £70 a night which was the internet price I found outside of a big event, then you'd be better off going elsewhere. If all you want is to stay at the racetrack which is a bonus if you've ever tried to get in or out of SIlverstone when the F1 Grand Prix is on, then you may think it's worth it although I doubt if you'd get in at those times anyway. As for the wonderful countryside views mentioned in the marketing hype, it looks out on some grass but you're inside Silverstone race track so no endless rolling countryside out to the horizon just grass as far as some trees maybe 100 metres away.
For what it is and as long as you understand what you're getting it's ok but I've had to rate this as a hotel as that's what it calls itself.

Room Tip: One side looks out on grass, one side looks out towards the race track perimeter fence. Not much to...

Stayed overnight in the snoozebox for a work trip and I was so impressed. Although they are small they are very practical. The bed was really comfy with good quality bedding. Lovely thick towels of which there was plenty of. Good powerful shower and no issues with hit water. I was warm and toasty all night. Breakfast was simple but adequate a selection of cereals yoghurt bacon and sausage. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay in one again. The rooms are designed for up to three people however unless the third person was a small child I would not recommend more than two people maximum.

We have just returned from a weekend at Silverstone (WEC). We arrived on Thursday afternoon and left on Monday morning. Do not go there expecting a luxury hotel - you get exactly what their name suggests - a box to sleep in! The rooms are very compact but so well designed. The room itself was very clean and the beds very comfortable. There was much amusement in our box as my 'not so young' daughter tried to discover the best way to get into the bunk bed without banging some part of her anatomy! All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was far better than I expected - plentiful and fresh. There is an option of an evening meal at an extra cost. Yes our box was small and cramped and it would have been nice to be able to open the port-hole window BUT we just spent 3 1/2 days at Silverstone circuit without ever having to leave it - that fact outweighs any downside!

Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the circuit - what more could you want? Note from daughter - bring your ow...

You must remember the location you are staying on the circuit you can't beat that.
Negative points as follows

1 Gravel car park, not good when you arrive in expensive cars

2 Breakfast poor

3 Cheap coffee

4 Bar closes too early

5 No opening window in room

6 No kettle tea or coffee in room

7 Very expensive at certain meetings cheaper to stay in towcester and a get a taxi if you wish to drink.

Room Tip: top floor less noise

Small and I mean small but superbly designed, extremely comfortable and frankly blows away nearby well known budget brand hotels. A portable hotel !!! it really is an amazing concept from the reception to the rooms themselves. My son is a racing driver and for test days and family, friends coming to watch the race action there is now no option, this is quite simply is brilliant.
