We loved our stay in this beautiful house so close to Alnwick castle. The house is very well-equipped and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful when I contacted them. Thankyou so much.
Couldn't ask for a better location just round the corner from the Castle. Parking was easy as spaces are right outside the house.
Loved the house, had a warm and cosy feel to it and we all felt right at home from the start.
Bedrooms were comfortable and clean and nicely decorated.
I would recommend this without reservation. Great stay...thank you
Stayed here for the weekend for my mums 70th. What a lovely cottage with a great welcome bundle to help us celebrate. The house was immaculate the rooms spacious and beds very comfy. Everything in Alnwick is in walking distance with the castle literally on the doorstep there isn't anything else we could have wanted. Other than locking ourselves out of the cottage (can't thank debbie and Kathryn enough for helping us get back in!!) We had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone worth every penny and we would love to go back for another visit.
We loved this beautiful house. It is stylish, spacious, and very well stocked with everything you could need. There is even a picnic bag and windbreaker for the beach! The location is amazing, it's literally down the street from both the castle and the Pottergate entrance to the darling town. We were sorry we didn't have more time but as entrance to the castle is valid for a whole year we have massive incentive to return! A must do is the amazing second hand bookshop/cafe in the old train station, just a short walk away.
This is a very nice property in a perfect location. Lovely short walks from the door down Canongate, easy access to the town, garden and castle. Further afield it's just a ten minute drive to Alnmouth and the wonderful beach. We had a lovely lunch at the Cook and Barker just six minutes drive out of Alnwick. Fantastic trips to the garden and castle, Craster, Bamburgh, Cragside and beautiful Walkworth.
The property has all you need even a picnic hamper and the welcome gifts of wine and cookies were a nice touch.
first holiday in northumberland first time stayed in a town on a holiday was quieter than we thought.property was nice and clean plenty to do and some lovely beaches near by.holy island is worth a visit will be sure to go back
A five minute walk to the castle, lots to do nearby if you have a car. Lots of places to eat in Alnwick and the supermarket is a short walk away. Clean and well-presented house - with a bottle of fizz and some biscuits waiting for us on arrival. Plenty of room for a family of four. We'd stay again.
