What a lovely place to stay, staff and rooms were excellent and helpful, its clean and friendly. The brewers fayre next to it is good too, lovely well cooked meals and plenty of it at a reasonable price. Also this place is set in such wonderful scenery, a lake and so much wildlife just outside the front door. Will definitely stay here again, well done premier inn staff for making this place excellent.

Room Tip: go see for yourself :)

I have stayed at Ashington Premier Inn twice and both times it has been excellent. Both times the room has been clean, tidy and comfortable and it has the most perfect location right next to the lake. I took my folding bike to explore the lake and countryside and they offered to lock it in the store cupboard so I didn't have to keep fiddling with it to fold/unfold and get it in and out of the car. Next door is a Brewers Fayre restaurant. On both occasions I had no problem getting a table for breakfast or dinner. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were all friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this and look forward to going back again.

After two recent issues with Premier Inn stays this one has restored my faith. Excellent location, rooms were meticulously clean, good air-con and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Restaurant is excellent with great choices and the best Premier Inn breakfast yet| The staff are a credit to the organisation. There is an indoor play area for the kids and an outdoor one as well.

Stayed 3 nights. The family room was adequate for our needs and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Northumberland is quiet with lots to explore. Fantastic beaches with no-one there. Visited the Northumberlandia which was really well done and well kept. Great castles and Hadrians wall. Sadly no real ale available in the bar!!

The hotel is in a great location in the North East and in a country park with loads of parking. The walk (or jog) round the lake is very pleasant of an evening. The integrated Brewers Fayre is huge and seemed to cope really well even on the Thursday evening when there seemed to be a lot of people around. The hotel seemed fairly new - but this might be the constant refurbishment programme I was told Premier Inn pursue

Room Tip: We had one on the first floor at the back - there was quite a large hum from some equipment (air con...

Stayed 22nd Aug in family room with our 3 children. Rooms.clean, travel cot spotless, bathroom clean. Ate in Brewers Fayre next door was lovely. There is a lovely nature reserve offering lovely long walk in the evening. To get right round would take a good 45mins. Would definitely stay here again.
