“Great. Loved it”

My wife and I recently spent some time around here on holiday and walked as much as possible along the coast from Alnmouth to Holy Island. I was impressed with all the beaches especially between Seahouse and Bamburgh as they are clean, unspoilt and not crowded. plus there are views of Bamburgh Castle, the Farne Islands and Holy Islands. The beach at Ross is a bit of a trek away from the car park but it is well worth the visit. I can only reiterate what others below have said below. It's rather nice.

We spent about 90 minutes on this beach on an August morning and saw 4 other people. Miles of golden sand. The only thing it's missing is a rock pool.

It is quite a walk to the beach from the parking area, over sand dunes, and there are no facilities there. Other than that its perfect.

We had a late afternoon here on a warm August day. Kids spent time paddling whilst we enjoyed the late afternoon rahs. Pretty quiet and lots of space. Thoroughly recommend

What a perfect, secluded beach! We stayed at Ross Farm Cottages so this was just a short walk from our accommodation. We spent a couple of afternoons walking along the beach and saw only a few other people. There are no facilities, so take a picnic and drinks with you.
