Good location with a pleasant outlook, 5 minute walk to a lovely beach, the cottage was warm, comfortble, clean and well equipped. Beadnell is a quiet little village with a small shop, post office and dog friendly pub and all the local attractions are easily accessible. The only downside is the parking,ok if you are using one car but additional space is tight and one neighbour could be particularly difficult about parking anywhere within 15 meters of his property.
This cottage is in the middle of Beadnell Village, handy for two pubs, a cafe/restaurant and the local shop - as well as being within walking distance of the beach! A perfect location for walks or days on the beach if you want to leave the car behind, but also a great location for exploring Northumberland.
Tickle Cottage is also brilliant - lots of attention to detail and everything you'd need for a week or two away, including everything you need in the kitchen, a very handy ulitity room, two great bedrooms which suited us perfectly and a lovely lounge/dining room. I'm sure we'll be back!
Perfect location. Close to fantastic beach and perfect dog friendly pub. What more could you ask? Better weather maybe, but nothing tracy could do about that! Would love to come back to Tickle Cottage again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Tickle Cottage is beautifully presented, clean, comfy and well equipped. It's perfectly placed for exploring Northumberland and the village of Beadnell combines great pubs with beaches and lots of history. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to go back soon.
Stayed here 3 times now home from home our dog loves it here says it all. Ideal location next to great pub which welcomes dogs and serves great meals. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
What a little Gem this is? Tastefully finished throughout with great attention paid to exactly what is needed on a holiday. Takes a little while to get used to layout but that's nit-picking. Lovely location with beach really close. Highly recommend.

Close enough to the beautiful sandy Beadnell beach which the dog and kids adored. Saw some amazing (8:15am) sunrises, ran down sand dunes, explored Holy Island and Alnwick tree house and came back to an open fire, hot chocolate and board games! The cottage was fully equipped, had style and comfort.
It was chilly going to the outhouse in a storm to use the microwave, but then it's a v compact kitchen. I think the chimney may need sweeping as the fire could be quite smokey but that's the only slightly negative things.
So many things thoughtful things had been put in for guests enjoyment like BBQ, games, lining the grill pan etc and the lovely biscuits and Christmas chocs left for the kids were appreciated. I would go back again and I've recommended it to people already.
