A fantastically well equipped cottage...right down to a dog bed. Clean and comfortable. Well situated. Very helpful and communicative owner.
Just returned from a 4 night stay at St Ebba’s Peep - a lovely, charming cottage set in a fantastic location in Beadnell. It's literally a 30 second walk to both the 'Salt Water Cafe' & the local pub 'The Craster Arms'. Do visit both - you won't be disappointed. It's also only a ten minute stroll to Beadnell's fabulous beach and harbour. Julie the owner and her team had made the cottage so welcoming for my wife, myself and Hector our cocker spaniel. We had been left an arrival pack which included wine, biscuits and ideas for things to do plus a selection of dog treats for Hector - together with clean dog towels and other pet items which people may have forgotten to pack. The entire place was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we felt instantly at home. Having stayed in many luxury self catering lodges and apartments over the years we cannot recall many that were as well equipped as this cottage. You will have everything needed for a relaxing and carefree stay at St. Ebba’s. All you would need to cook, eat, drink and be merry is there - from cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. If you need help to relax and unwind - there are TV's in each room, radio, books, magazines and board games plus the all important wifi connection. The cottage boasts really comfortable beds, a secure rear courtyard garden and bespoke car parking for two vehicles. A great bonus, and this was Hector's favourite, is the underfloor heating in the kitchen.
The main reason we booked this particular cottage was that it ticked the pet friendly box but don't be put off if you're not bringing your pet as it's just as great for us humans too.
Thanks Julie - we all had a fabulous time on this, our first visit. It most definitely won't be our last!!
sixth visit to st.ebbas, still of the highest quality accomadation available in the area. The location is ideal for visiting the area especially with dogs.
St ebbas is a true credit to Julie, the owner and the maintenance people who prepare for the cottage for visitors.
Many thanks again Julie.
Great location , within walking distance of the beach. Great for exploring the coastal area of Northumberland, Bamburgh, Seahouses , Holy Island all very accessible in the car. The Craster Arms ...also dog friendly is within walking distance for a lovely meal if you don't wish to cook.
All in all a lovely stay , spotlessly clean and exceptionally well appointed. Very highly recommended.
Had a fabulous week in st ebbas peep, cottage is very cosy & homely. Beds are very comfortable, cottage was spotless & had absolutely everything we needed. Walks on beautiful beadnell bay were a delight, love this part of Northumberland.
Staying here for 2 weeks - in our second week at the moment. Not a hiccough. Beautiful home, everything you might need & even some extras - 5 TVs! Great location about 500m from the nearest beach & shop. Next to the Craster Arms and across from a bijoux coffee shop? Sound idyllic? It is.
Nice & quiet but for bird sounds - there are a number of crows nesting at the top of the drive by the church.
This is a lovely unspoiled corner of the country only 2 miles walk from Seahouses and about 5 miles from Bamburgh with the amazing castle. Beautiful clean white beaches, rolling waves & grassy dunes.
Lots of helpful contact from Julie the owner prior to arriving - helped us feel secure in the booking.
