After initial technical issues with Tripadvisor - not the fault of the owner - we were a little apprehensive about our trip. However, I am delighted to report that we had the most wonderful week at this lovely cottage. It is located in a lovely, tranquil area with lovely views across countryside and a glimpse of one of the nearby beaches. The cottage had everything we needed - washer, iron/board, hairdryer etc and is set close to restaurants, beaches, a small shop and a fish and chip shop. My 19 and 9 year olds both felt at home at the cottage and our cocker spaniel loved the daily walks across beaches to High Newton and Seahouses. We would like to thank the owners for providing a home from home cottage in a lovely setting and look forward to staying again soon. The weather was also very kind to us, which provided a nice change to our usual waterproofs and wellies attire! Great holiday, nice cottage in lovely location.

Excellent holiday cottage. Good value, well equipped. Great for your doggy family too. Very near beaches.I'm hoping to stay there again.

The property was lovely and very comfortable clean and modern, great location for walks and scenery, garden area well planned for pets. Some nice local pubs for food We had an enjoyable experience. Thank you

Nice little house in the middle of a housing estate. Near to beaches and pub that sold good food. We had to take so much stuff though all bedding towels and an iron but no ironing board when we got there. Should be better stocked for the money you pay.

Lovely and clean and would recommend. We took our two dogs and they loved the yard and the beaches and many walks around the house. I would love to go back to Northumberland and would definitely check if Pedigree was free first (even if we visited without our dogs). Lovely pubs, cafe, chip shop and shop all in walking distance.
My only little niggle was the yard there was a overgrown apple tree which blocked view over open fields which was shame.

We chose the Northumbrian coast as an alternative to Fife and choose Pedigree Cottage as we were able to book short stay and take the dog; as it was she didn't come. The house is set up well for dogs. We had a comfortable few days here and it didn't lack anything. We found it clean and tidy. Good to be able to park the car off the road. Beadnell was a good place to stay and is a good point to travel to others parts up and down the coast. Also lovely to walk along to Seahouses less than a 2 mile walk and saved finding a parking space. We ate out at the Craster Arms only a few minutes walk from the house. It serves lovely food and lovely to sit in the beer garden. Beadnell has a little shop, we found it expensive. We also sampled the local chippy. In all honesty they were the worst chips we've ever tasted in our lives and would never use again! All in all we enjoyed our stay and Beadnell and Northumberland, we loved the scenery, the cleanliness and the free parking we found in Berwick and Bamburgh! We would stay here again.
