Excellent location in a Northumbrian coastal village. The beaches in the area are stunning, there are lots of lovely walks along the coast and the pubs and cafes are dog friendly. The house is well equipped and has a south facing enclosed patio. Can't recommend it too highly.

First time to the Northumbria coast and had a great time. Beadnell beach is beautiful and only a 5min walk from the house. Lots to see and do, all within a short drive. Nice house with everything you should need. Will be back.

Hilly brow was such a find. A great location just round the corner from the beach and so nice to have great facilities , no 1 pan and 3 plates here Susie has made sure the kitchen has all you could need. The garden was fully secure and safe for a bouncy jack Russell and a great sun trap, perfect for relaxing after that long walk on the huge beaches. After a long drive Susie read my mind and being able to have glass of wine on arrival was just what was needed

“Home from home”
Reviewed 9 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Susie is a super professional host and Hilly Brow has been our home from home three times. Hopefully it will be for more breaks in the future. Well equipped, impeccably cleaned and perfectly located to access the amazing beaches in the area. Embleton beach is just spectacular as is the walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle. An ideal family (2+2) home, with private drive on a quiet cul-de-sac. You can't go wrong!

At last a holiday let furnished with quality kitchen kit, comfy furniture and lovely interior decor. This spot provides a great base to explore the beauty of this coast.

“Great property, 5 minutes walk to glorious beach.”

Lovely house, just five minutes walk from Beadnell's superb beach and pretty harbour. It is a new property and has been beautifully decorated throughout. The small garden is a great sun trap, ideal for a late outside breakfast and drying the children's wet swimsuits. There is a good range of children's DVDs (although we were so lucky with the weather we never had to use them) and some beach toys. Free wifi with a stable connection at all times. Well equipped kitchen with a decent size fridge and nice to have a washing machine. Excellent pub (Craster Arms) and fish and chips within 5 minutes drive. Our children wanted us to phone the owner and buy the property! Beadnell itself is a great base for exploring the area.
