We went here with family ranging from the small (16 weeks) + two other children, and six adults. We were able to book a table around lunch time for dinner on a friday evening.
First the Positives:
The food was very good, there was a good range of options, using local ingredients, portions were a good size. I had lobster to start and venison for my main. Both dishes were tasty.
The others in our part had a range of dishes and also enjoyed theirs. There was a suitable selection for the children.
The restaurant was VERY HOT, and staff were unable to open the doors or windows, at points some of the party had to go outside for fresh air.
Also were were sat there was direct sunlight coming through a large window, but no curtain to block it, I spent the first half of our meal having to cover my eyes.
The baby changing facilities were only available in the ladies toilets.. no good if it is daddy's turn to change the nappy!
Overall the food was good and the service prompt, in total we spent £180 for 2 kids and 6 adults, with a range of 1-2 dishes each + a bottle of wine + soft drinks. The standard of the food was good and as long as you are not there in the height of summer I suspect there would be very little bad to say.
