“Wonderful Waterside Holiday Home”
Reviewed 22 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

A truly exceptional place to stay, for us this is the holiday home that all others will be judged by. Wonderful to watch the changing tides, light and wildlife from the large French windows. Quality, comfort, and so much space, pleasing in every way. There were no 'Buts' it was simply perfect, we did not want to leave! Owner was really helpful and thoughtful. Deposit was returned promptly. Berwick is a great town with much to recommend it as a holiday base. Lovely art centre, cinema, galleries, great wholefood store, micro pubs and friendly people. Lovely walks from your doorstep, and all of the Northumberland coastline a short drive or train journey away.

Thanks so much - we love the house too, and it is great to know that others are enjoying it - and the estuary life outside.
Best wishes

“Stunning waterside home”
Reviewed 18 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

A beautifully appointed and well equipped house over 3 floors. Cosy but has large picture windows so very bright and airy. Perfectly placed to enjoy the coast, watching the birds and wildlife yet easy to walk in to town for pubs/restaurants et al. A walk around the walls is definitely worth the effort. Thank you.

“excellent stay in immaculate, beautiful house”
Reviewed 23 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This house is/ was clearly the home of people who love to decorate with taste and beauty. We loved it all and were warm and comfortable. Excellent facilities, kitted out perfectly, and immaculately clean. Information on house and local area was really helpful - so thoughtful. Thank you!
Two quibbles:
the TV room only fits two people: and the TV screen is too big for the distance between viewers and screen...we managed but others wouldn't.
The advance information should place much more emphasis on the fact that this house is on three and a half floors using a tight steep spiral staircase - so very hard on anyone with poor limbs or lungs. We were unable to use the top floor living space together as a consequence of this and this was a shame as it's wonderful.

Thanks very much for your lovely review, Barbara. I'm sorry the stairs were a problem, and I'll change the info on our site to make sure it's clear. The TV room IS cosy, but we can usually squeeze in up to four!
Thanks again, Katharine
