We stayed at the Queens and used the restaurant for three nights the food is very high quality and substantial helpings all with great service

Our favourite place for evening dinner in Berwick. An excellent menu and something of the atmosphere of an historic inn.

Been here 18 years hopefully we have gained a reputation for consistency & continuity & here;s hoping we can continue to deliver the same level in the foreseeable future. We are constantly looking on how to improve all sectors of our business & as you mentioned with being a historic Inn with characteristics we try to retain these whilst creating a contemporary feel & hopefully we achieve this?

We have eaten here a few times and the food and service never fails to meet excellent standards. We had friends from Yorkshire the North and West of Scotland all of whom were in agreement about the quality of the meal was superb.

After coming off a boat trip (very cold) we went in the Queens Head and were warmed up by 2 whiskies! The staff were excellent and looked after us very well - the food was quick and delicious - very good lunchtime menu.

I had a lovely meal while on a short break in Berwick. I went in expecting a pub with food, Wetherspoon style, and was very pleasantly surprised that it was restaurant style with table service. I can thoroughly recommend the lasagne and would recommend The Queens Head to anyone.
Many thanks for your compliments & nice to know when you walked into the hotel you were pleasantly surprised with your expectations. In truth we are restricted to what we can on the front facade being a Grade 2 listed building but first impressions count hence blackboards, full flower display & al fresco tables & chairs.
Looking back at reviews many customers compliment us on our service, hospitality & consistency. Here's hoping we can continue to deliver what customers expect in the future?
