Reviewed 14 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

This is the fifth consecutive year that we have stayed here. It is ideally situated for trips to the local town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, enjoying city life in Edinburgh and the lovely beaches of Northumberland. We are very happy with the accommodation, it has private parking, a lovely spacious lounge, large well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, the downstairs toilet is appreciated too!

Thank you so much for your glowing review and thank you for your patience whilst problems were sorted out. I now have a page in the Welcome Folder re the boiler and the plumber is due in shortly to service and certificate. There are also spare batteries for all bits that may need them. Smoke alarms/remotes etc. I would love to welcome you back anytime. Kind regards. Judi

“Ideal location for exploring northern Northumbria”
Reviewed 19 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Entering the post code into the car GPS took us right to the door of this clean and nicely appointed property. Part of converted farm outbuilding the property shares a charming walled courtyard area with other houses converted from the same farm stables.

Situated in rolling farmland by car you can get back on the A1 in five minutes and into Berwick upon Tweed in another five. During our stay we visited places along the coast from Eyemouth to Alnmouth, including Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Seahouses and Alnwick castle and gardens. Great beaches (especially Bamburgh), plenty for kinds to do and many options for eating out locally in Berwick and local pubs.

We all really enjoyed our stay in Northumberland, and this spacious, tidy, property provided an ideal base for exploring the area.
