Stayed here for 5 nights while working. A very well equipped, clean and comfortable room complimented by extremely friendly staff and excellent food - a wide range of breakfasts to choose from and an excellent dinner menu too. Located in the centre of Berwick, you couldn't find a better place to stay.

Kind words indeed Bill & great to know you had a most enjoyable stay with us & all the boxes were ticked. Fingers crossed we may see you again if you return to the area either on business or purely pleasure.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights last week due to work locally
Staff very friendly
Room was very clean and tidy with plenty of refreshments in room.
Breakfast was outstanding so much I couldn’t eat all of it.
Overall a very nice place for stopping over for work or leisure
Defo would stay there again on next visit

A big thanks for your kind review & it's certainly gratifying that you appreciated the little personal touches in the room whilst staying with us.
In truth although we are a Grade 2 listed building we are continually being pro-active & whilst keeping the characteristics of old building try to create a contemporary feel which I think we achieve?
We have a big conglomerate hotel being constructed 2 doors away from us at present Premier Inn & I understand they have a certain market they are continually aiming at but they do not have the personal touch & hopefully we can continue to receive prospective customers who are looking for the personal touches. Hope to see you in the future if you return to the area.

My wife and I have eaten here many times over the years but I don't believe I have ever written it up. The pub sits at the bottom of Hide Hill in Berwick and is enormously convenient if you intend to go to the Maltings for a film or play.
Last night we sat down for a light supper at 1830. The owner, who I seem to recall intended to sell at some point, but who has clearly stayed (hurrah) greeted us warmly. We were looked after by Katerine from Berlin. She was everywhere - nobody was ignored, tables were cleared, food arrived promptly - she was a whirling dervish, and all with a smile and good humour. She even took the trouble to spontaneously write down the details of something we should see when we were next in Berlin.
A fun evening. Thank you The Queen's Head

Many thanks for your comments Eric & we are pleased to know that you both are regular visitors to our hotel. Hopefully this can continue in the future where our aim is to continue providing an enjoyable experience to you both either through either limited time on your visit to the theatre or a more relaxing evening.
Customer service is paramount & thankfully the old saying 'you are only as good as your staff' certainly bares some truth.
Here's hoping we see you both in the not to distant future.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Queen's Head Hotel. The bar, restaurant, breakfast room and room were nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the ample breakfast and the good choice of pub food. The hotel provided 2 bands for entertainment on New Year's day which was popular for residents and locals. We would recommend this hotel.

Thank you Stuart but I have checked our reservations & in truth your review is for another accommodation provider. Great to hear you both had an enjoyable time & your stay in close proximity met your expectations.

Stayed for a night en route from York back to Scotland. The owners/staff are welcoming and friendly, the room well appointed, warm with everything we needed, very comfortable bed with extremely cosy bedding. Made an error in not dining at the hotel, but after dining elsewhere we had cheese/biscuits and pudding at the Queen's Head and it was just the bee's knees. One of the best places I've stayed and I've stayed in a few! Thank you.

Kind words indeed Fee Fee & thank you for the time in posting a review. I may sound biased but reputation is everything & hopefully if you do return & reside with us, you can dine & fingers crossed everything will be to your satisfaction? See you both in the not too distant future.
