The hotel is situated in the historic walled town or Berwick -upon-Tweed . I have visited the Hotel/restaurant on several occasions and can recommend the the restaurant A cosy and relaxed atmosphere excellent service . with a varied wine list and choice of menu something to tickle any taste buds. One of the variations of local crab would be my recommended starter ENJOY!!!

Close to the City Elizabethan Wall and reasonable parking arrangements. An 18th Century Inn, small but hospitality notable. In -room visitors books all very complmentary and reflect service and facilities appropriately. Rooms are small but commensurate with size and age of the builiding, beds comfortable and bathroom well equipped.
Food outstandingly good and particularly with fresh seafood. Mine host Gary misses nothing and recognises your needs before you do. Five blobs for attention to detail
Moderately priced for time of year and standard.

We stayed at the Queens Head for one night as part of a touring trip of the North-East in September.

The Queens Head has an excellent location in the centre of town, close to everything and no more than 50-100m from the city walls and riverside. Parking was easy though, opposite the hotel, free overnight and inexpensive in the morning.

Our room was compact but very nice with all of the usual facilities, a comfortable bed and a good shower. Some of the little touches were nice, such as the little tub of jelly beans, and for an overnight stay the room ticked all our boxes.

Breakfast was also good the next morning so I'd be happy to recommend the Queens Head to anyone like us travelling in the area and wanting to overnight in Berwick.

Yet again our yearly visit to Berwick was made memorable by our stay at The Queens Head. We are a group of 13 and all were delighted with the high standards of the accomodation, food & service.
Looking forward to next year. Highly recommended. John & Yvonne Glendinning

This hotel made us feel very welcome and the staff were interested in our plans. The food was excellent. The bedrooms were supplied with fruit and sweets and bottled water. as well as tea and coffee. The towels were thick and bath sheet size and the shower was the perfect.
We were also given lots of information on places to visit and how to get there.

We didn't know what to expect but were delighted by what we found. The level of service was friendly and helpful. Some would say old fashioned. The owner Garry worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable and always seemed on hand to offer help and advice. Another great surprise was the standard of the food in the restaurant during our evening meal. It was excellent and will stay in our memories for a very long time. Given the level of facilities, service and the quality of the food in the restaurant, the price was a bargain.

Only 6 rooms but ours was a good size, very clean and well equipped - comfortable bed, TV/dvd player on wall, excellent bath and shower room, and a bowl of fruit, bottles of water and a carton of jelly babies completed the welcome from the helpful staff. Attractive restaurant with a small menu of well cooked food. The whole place has been carefully refitted recently, although being a historic building its layout is a bit quaint. Very central location.
