Relaxing on the dock of the bay....
Amazing space and location: mesmerised by the view from the sofa! Very well equipped apartment, with everything you'd expect but also further touches, in kitchen and bathroom. Attentive hosts. Well decorated space for relaxing. Quiet location overlooking the dock. Easy access by car to discover the area. Short walk into town to discover the town. Shop and takeaways literally 1 minute from the door. Recommended and will return in a heartbeat. A relaxing memorable stay.

Great place to stay and use as a base to explore Northumberland and the Scottish Borders
The flat is situated next to the harbour at Berwick in a very quiet location. Its up on the 3rd floor but access is easy through a lift. There is a great view of the harbour from the window - and we took the opportunity to see a variety of birds, notably swans and gulls regularly in the harbour. The flat is very quiet to stay, so we always got a great nights sleep. Temperature wise the heating kept the room at a comfortable level despite the cold outside. Information in a folder in the flat was excellent and helpful. Other nice touches was a welcoming hamper and a generous supply of good quality towels. There were a good range of kitchen facilities in the main living space including cooker, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, combined washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing boards and useful storage space. Sofas were very comfortable and the dining table elegant. We made use of this as every night but one we ate in in the evenings. The only gripe I had, and a minor one at that, was getting in/out of the flat complex using your car. This was trickier than it should have been as the fob for opening the vehicle entry gates was randomly inconsistent. It would open the gates straight away on some days and other days you could be pressing away for 5 minutes before the gates opened. Overall however, very pleased with this flat and enjoyed our stay in it,

Great location with fabulous view
This comfortable 1 bedroom apartment has everything you need. It is in a small complex that is quiet and with a car space. Well furnished, clean and being upstairs, windows that open, which was appreciated. Christine was extremely helpful and there were lots of pamphlets on things to do in the area in the apartment. I would stay here again and recommend this apartment for any people who want self catering accommodation in the Berwick area.

Holiday break
A lovely flat with a great view. We stayed for a week and explored the area. Very clean very.modern and comfortable. The only downside was the water which smelt and tasted oily, however there was notice if this in the bathroom and the owners were aware. We didn't bother contacting them with this as we just brought bottled water and drank from that. It wasn't an issue to wash in. Everything you could need was available in the flat and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definately come back.

Perfect apartment
We stayed for three nights over new year 2017/18. Perfect location, with stunning views of the Tweed and North Sea. The apartment is very clean with lovely furnishings - everything you need. Contrary to another review we thought there is plenty of storage space - a double wardrobe with a drawer plus a chest of drawers too. There is also a large cupboard to use if needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch - thank you John and Christine for a perfect stay.

Lovey for a short stay but not enough storage space for longer stays
The owners are lovely and very helpful from start to end with our booking. The apartment would be perfect for a weekend/short stay but we found for a week in the winter months when you have to take extra clothes/coats/boots and want to cook and eat in here there was not enough space for food and clothing and limited worktop space for food preparation . The bedroom has one double wardrobe behind the bedroom door with a bottom draw in it and a small dressing table with two small draws which are not very deep so ended up leaving things on the top as could not fit into the draws but it really needs a full set of draws to keep winter woolies in and other items instead of this dressing table. The kitchen is well equipped but we had no storage space at all for the food in the cupboards that we had taken with us as we love to go self catering so that after a lovely day sight seeing we can return to our accommodation, relax and look after ourselves but we really struggled with the lack of cupboard space to put food in and the fridge freezer is not full size either so we even struggled for storage in that too. But as we have said for a short break or even if you prefer to eat out each night it would not be a problem as it is a lovely apartment and the position could not be better for walking into Berwick. The views are great from the apartment. It is also a bonus that you have secure parking here and a lift .The apartment was lovely and warm and nice and quiet although we could hear the people walking about in the above apartment which I suppose is only to be expected in apartments. The bathroom was fabulous with a great shower and plenty of hot water and nice towels and toiletries and as mentioned by the owners in the bathroom the tap water does have a very strange oil smell and taste which the notice says is not harmful but we just used bottled water so was not a problem to us. The owners left a lovely little welcome basket too which is a nice touch. All in all a lovely place but struggled space wise for clothing and food storage for a week in the winter.

Sorry to be so long to reply and sorry to hear that you find the storage not adequate for your needs. Most guests seem to find enough space for all their belongings as there is a wardrobe, drawers and a large walk in cupboard for our door clothes. As there are excellent restaurants and shops the freezer is often not used at all.

Comfortable, secure, and a great view
Very well fitted out apartment. Clean, comfortable, and an extremely comfy bed! The view from the front window is superb. We saw seals in the morning and swans at night by the bridge, which takes you over the Tweed into beautiful Berwick, a short walk away.

Great views!
Flat had everything we needed, as well as great views of Berwick harbour. I think it's technically in Tweedmouth, but only a short walk across the old bridge to the main town of Berwick - plenty of pubs & restaurants. And some good take-aways and Asda in walking distance.

Quality apartment with stunning views and grest location
Our four night break was enhanced by the complimentary collection from the station. Plenty of buses to take you up and down the coast so a car is not necessary though there is secure parking if required. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable as befits a GOLD grading from Visit Britain. Ideal too if, like me, you have small mobility problems
