“Brilliant Great Value”
Reviewed 24 August 2013

The bedroom was immaculate, with lovely views of the castle and the toiletries and tea/coffee amenities brilliant. Huge car park, great location to the village. We arrived late at night and in blackness but it was still easy to find. The breakfasts were amazing, anything you want, and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this to everyone, I will be back. Fantastic value

I recently stayed at 'The Bungalow B&B, (15-16 July 2013). The 'Bungalow' is ideally situated in the village, with views of 'The Castle', and the rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable, immaculate. Geoff & Maureen, the hosts were most charming and friendly, and made their guests most welcome. It will most definitely on my 'the place to stay' when I return to the island hopefully soon.

Room Tip: Rooms 1&2 give good views of the Lindisfarne castle.

We had one night here with Texan friends who had never been to a B and B before - they were overwhelmed with The Bungalow! I had chosen The Bungalow because of the very good Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. It was perfect in every way - the bedroom, breakfast, parking and not forgetting the hosts - of course, Geoff would be - he's from Yorkshire! Seriously - if you are wanting to stay overnight on Lindisfarne - I doubt that you could find a B and B better than The Bungalow.

Room Tip: I don't honestly think it matters!

Enjoyed 2 lovely nights here. Our room was immaculate, the hosts were very accommodating - even providing us with champagne glasses when we went out to the dunes to watch the tide come in - and breakfast was lovely, one vegetarian being well catered for. We will be returning.

Very comfortable room. We have stayed before and will be coming back. Geoff and Maureen are only seen about when necessary. Own parking which is great. Breakfasts are very good and they will accommodate any combniation you want. Feels very relaxed and laid back. Beds made every day and towels changed every day if you want them to be.

Lovely B&B with very helpful, friendly (but not intrusive) hosts. They catered for my vegetarian daughter with very nice vege sausages at breakfast and asked if she liked them as they said they had been experimenting with different ones to find the best!
All the rooms have a different layout (we had all three for a family get-together on the island) but all are great.

Room Tip: Try the full English breakfast, but if you are vegetarian they will cater very well for you too!

We had a fantastic two night stay in the Bungalow. The room was quiet and very comfortable, food was to die for and the hosts very welcoming. Great place to stay for long walks and watching the animal life.
